That was quite ridiculous. But I guess FIA wants to forget this season: whatever, get over with it.

Final straight of the championship, like final at Indy. Breaking the tow is OK in my book, until they get beside

That was so weird wasn't it? Looked like the TV director wanted to make fun of Toto in the most inappropriate time.

And nor did Imola or Silverstone, which is even more.

I see Toto has gotten Russell's Twitter password.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Now that this is over, we face the next question: who will play the roles of Verstappen and Hamilton when they make a Rush-style Hollywood film of this season?

30+ years of watching formula 1 and for the longest time never thought a Dutchman would win the title or even win races. I am so happy!

You uk guys already have Norris and Russell waiting to take over from Lewis. We Dutch have nothing after max. So will likely be another 30+ years before another dutchy comes along once max retires

The TV director has been anti merc for a long time

He definitely felt the red bull "OMG this is an injustice" mood before the restart, broadcasting all of Red Bull's messages

TBH, they create the drama we react to. Lewis' negative/angry/tyre moaning messages always get played and Max's happy/positive/team building messages get played

They create the characters we react to, never forget this

Yes, this is what Ted has been saying in the post race and will be the subject of the most controversy

They did it for the show, of course

It's so weird we're in the era of F1 creating the show, NASCAR style, and not the Charlie Whiting "I'd rather Marshals die than interrupt the purity of this sport"

Enjoy your ride. I think Max will continue till his mid 30s, so at least there's still 10 years to celebrate.

We Finns don't have anyone in F3 or F2, so after Bottas retires I think F1 will lose 95% of Finnish viewers. Heck, I think Kimi's retirement will drop the viewership by two thirds. :tumble:
