The track looks very fast and full of blind corners, so that if there's a crash, it can cause a chain reaction. I really hope we don't see a slow-car-fast-car-airborne-collision. Also the debris will block the road so expecting pleeeenty of red flags, and at least a couple during the race. F2 will be a nightmare.

Or then everyone behave themselves and we get a snoozer with Hamilton winning and Verstappen finishing 2nd.

they placed 3 DRS zones, 2 of which are in curved sectors

if they're looking forward wheel to wheel action then they're damn wrong, those are quite short

I'm fearing a Dario Franchitti career ending style crash on this track.

certain people will fail to take this the right way but thats what I fear about Hamilton. I'm fearing his luck will run out in the worst possible way.

We have had fast city tracks before (Baku, Singapore), but yeah, non-stop flat out and walls/catch fencing... cross fingers the halo does it's job in the event of any skyward crashes.

Had Verstapens tire failure happened to anyone being in a pack of cars at that location, this would have been a terrible pileup. Hope no blown tires happen here. Could be desasterous.
But: With a circuit like that on the calendar, they can very wall the fast esses back into Montreal.

I posted a video in the Baku topic what would happen if Verstappen spun towards the pit entry instead of the right. Would also been horrible

the outcome will be similar to those pile up crashes we see at the top of Eau Rouge in the recent years

I guess the lack of runoff areas could make drivers approach crashes more carefully instead of going flatout like they do at Radillon

I hope for a boring Red Bull dominated GP. Verstappen wins, Hamilton 5th, points difference for the next race is 25 points so Hamilton needs to win AND fastest lap in Abu Dhabi. Verstappen crashes out at the start, Hamilton leads but must also have fastest lap. He has it, but then Perez pits for softs with 2 laps to go...

jinxed it, Hamilton will win and Verstappen will DNF from a mechanical failure or a crash that wasn't his fault

At this stage, I feel Bottas would be more likely to make a 'mistake', hit Hamilton instead, and then leak the audio himself.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

change Bottas to Russell during pit stop and making look like Red Bull did an unsafe release

At Abu Dhabi Verstappen wins, but because Bottas spun on lap 50 and caused momentary double yellows while Verstappen was lapping Russell, Mercedes can show that he didn't slow down enough, and so the stewards give Max 10 sec penalty and Hamilton wins the championship.

I see what you're doing here, trying to anti-jinx it so that we get a fair and entertaining end to the championship battle ;)
