So this place was custom built. And I for the life of me can't figure out why they have made the first sector almost impossible to pass on. It is a combination of the butchered esses of Mexico, back half of Valencia and fiddly bits of Singapore and Korea.

But I bet you, there will be no criticism of the track what so ever. Despite it basically being unfinished. I will have WAY more respect for Lewis (or anyone really) if he/they have their pride helmet(s) for this weekend. Though they may find themselves chopped up in little bits if they do........

What is unfinished? Looked pretty much finished from that SC onboard. Also, you can hate the country but still rate the track for what it delivers. It's strange to me that people are hoping for the event to fail instead of hoping the track delivers good spectacle - if not passing, at least a new challenge, different from tight chicanes and shitty tasteless hairpins that you all seem to want "for passing".

Also, we didn't have catchfence crashes in 15 years at Singapore and similar tracks, and even Indycar who uses street courses all the time has had exactly two life-threatening crashes of that sort in 3 decades.

It WILL happen one day in F1, because they're all defending more and more like absolute twats, but it's overblown imo and the solution isn't to race on a fucking gymkhana course of white lines connecting hairpins with long DRS straights just so these shitty F1 cars can provide some safe and decent racing.

This track is missing big numbers painted on the road to tell viewers what corner it is, like Caesar's Palace had

No chance of rain, but chances of missile strikes? Wasn't the E-prix in Saudi Arabia almost hit by an airstrike last year?

The Red Sea has seen its fair share of trouble over the years. A plane was bombed a few years ago and an there was an oil tanker spill.

Don't worry about it. If there's one thing the Saudis want to do, is pretend they are open and inclusive in their sporting events.

How exactly? Unless both Max and Lewis get injured badly before Sunday, we can't say who will win the championship.

that or race canceled due to track breaking up.
If this one gets canned, Max just needs to finish 2nd which is highly likely thus season decided.

More likely they repeat the Spa farce which wouldn't be much as a farce since this is a Mickey Mouse track

Have they previously been using the white flag to signal cars on slow laps?

I wonder if max should run with a bit more sandbags on Friday so Mercedes might remove less sandbags on Saturday.

Just watch Mercedes being 0.6 clear of him tomorrow
