Hitting another car is however

I don't see what Max should be punished for here. He slowed to let Lewis pass. Lewis doesn’t have to hang in his gearbox if he doesn’t want to pass, he could also have driven behind him on the left. The only one who should be punished here is Lewis because he drove Max into the car.

You have a good point about Lewis positioning, but here's a possible explanation. If Lewis had stayed on the left, he would have left Max the opportunity to brake hard before DRS activation line. My theory is that Lewis stayed in his gearbox precisely to prevent Max from ever letting him slip past with a hard braking, as that would've caused a collision that Max wouldn't want to happen either.

Then somehow they still hit, and that's the part I'm still puzzled about and I hope the investigation clears it up (with no penalty hopefully)

They'll probably give Hamilton a 5/10 second penalty to appease the masses, knowing it won't have any effect on the result.

It would have to be 5 seconds as 10 would put him behind Max.

Another question, judging by today race lets go back to 2017 baku race where Vettel accused Hamilton of brake testing him when SC was about to come in...and he crashed into him
So i want to know did Lewis get any penalty for that, cuz i cant remember, but i know there were way down the order when race finished cuz of that, but cant remember who did get what, for what

Vettel's penalty was for driving into Hamilton after the alleged brake test.

And what if when Hamilton crashed today into Max and he would spun or hit the wall badly and that it ended Max race there, how would that the stewards see, Max slowss o he can Pass him, but Lewis comes and hits him from behind and takes him out of the race. What would the Stewart say then? Normal racing incident? But lucky both continued.

Nope because they proved Hamilton was going at constant speed which as leader he was at liberty to do. Vettel got the penalty for coming up alongside him and hitting him.

Hamilton ended up having the cockpit padding issue and had to pit.

Oh ok then, it was Vettels own fault then, ok si this today is new for stewards and its not the same like Baku.
Mann always new rules being written during race, and the still dont know what to give as a penalty, but in this case im sure he will only get the repair costs of both cars and we will move on like nothing happened

Yeah this is the thing. Max and Lewis were trying to play each other, fine. But suddenly Lewis knobs it up and tries to blame it on a "brake check"... nah, you just fucked up

In regards of the Perez/leclerc incident. No penalty as neither was predominantly at fault

Well not to take this thread off-topic, but not quite. Watch the onboard again. Hamilton definitely eases off the gas a bit coming out of the corner, probably just as Vettel was speeding up in anticipation. Hamilton was perfectly entitled to do so and Vettel just misjudged it so the initial contact was totally his fault. But it certainly wasn't a case of Hamilton going at a constant speed.

Just watched the highlights. Max is totally going to kamakazi Lewis at the start next race and take the championship based on countback. It is inevitable.

I think if one driver deliberatly takes out another driver next race, the FIA will remove that driver from the standings and give him a race ban for next season.
