Turns 10-16 look kinda cool potentially. I assume the entire place is flat as a pool table though. |

Layout doesn't look awful, but I'm guessing the track is super wide with a ton of tarmac run off everywhere? I watched GP2 Asia but don't remember the track at all. |

Yeah, a lot of tarmac run offs everywhere. I don't like this track, even when there's great racing series like MotoGp |

Since everyone and their grandmother thinks Lewis will walk all over this just like they all thought Max would have Brasil in the pocket, I wouldnt be surprised to see Max totally dominate the race. |

I hope so. If Lewis wins the remaining races, he'll win the championship very easily. RB needs to respond... Too bad we can't have ONE just ONE completely daylight race in the Middle East. Night races are so dumb. |

Just go straight from T1 to T11. |

I still believe Mercedes has the upper hand for this and the next three rounds given it'll not be warm and the flat nature of the track favour their cars |

Finally a race that isn't sponsored by Rolex, Heineken, or Emirates/Qatar Airways |

There were none when GP2 was racing here According to Google Earth, one year after that race. But then they removed tarmac runoff at T2 |

Of all the potential tracks available, we have to end up in Qatar. |

Even if we remain in the Middle East (for sponsorship and US timezone-friendly night races), I still have no idea why they haven't raced in Dubai Autodrome yet. That track looks a whole lot more interesting, at least on paper and in racing sims. |

My expectations are so low they brought a shovel and starting digging. This race can only surprise me from here. At least the championship battle will be worth watching. |

He’s wearing a LGBTQ helmet, I’ll give him kudos to that, not a massive middle finger to Qatar but a reasonable one. |
