I suspect that kerb will disappear overnight.

Lucky Hamilton again.

Eh. Looked like Bottas was about to nick 2nd, which would almost certainly trap Max behind a minimum of one Mercedes after turn 1.

As it is, if Max gets a better start than Hamilton, he has the inside line and things may happen.

Doubtful. Pretty much the entire track has those serrated kerbs on the outside of the main kerb. Any one of them could've caused the same damage to Gasly's front wing. So if they took that one away, they'd have to do all of them.

And actually P3 likely gives Bottas a far better shot of getting ahead of Verstappen going into turn 1, than starting P2. There's no support races on this track and the right hand side of the grid will be lacking in grip. So I wouldn't be surprised at all if we see the Mercs 1-2 coming out of turn 1.

The yellow flag graphic disappeared when Verstappen was in that sector. Guess there must have still been lights on or flags waving, which unfortunately should be a penalty.

If not, he needs to get ahead into turn one tomorrow, or it's game over.

they can argue the flags were alternating between green and yellow at least twice which makes a stewards error rather than a driver one

plus, quite difficult for the stewards to aknowledge error right

You can add Bottas to the summoned list now.

Which one matters the most: the name on the trophy, or the journey to get there?

I still have no idea why that wasn't an SC :?

One theory I have is that Whiting didn't want to cost Alonso a win because he already pitted and Schumacher hadn't

well people recall more the achievements of Fangio than the good sportsmanship of Moss

of course if Hamilton gets the championship will be well deserved, he never let the gap get closer to the point of no return but is quite frustrating

if at least Mercedes could put their drivers on a good fight against each other

he did the same in Hockenheim 2014 to not let Hamilton get an easy win over Rosberg

If Mercedes and Hamilton win this year, I won't be amused in the slightest.

But they sure as fuck will deserve it. A title with a proper challenge. Those are the ones that stand the most.

It was a great lap, but lucky with the timing of not suffering from yellows.

Alright. Let's forget Hamilton and let's only say "unlucky Bottas and Verstappen".

Gasly ends up in the front row with the high IQ move.
