Haha, I'm up for a sprint race + rainstorm combo

Max wins after a botched kamikaze attempt by Bottas that takes out Hamilton instead.

Week later he will clinch the title. At least if my calculations are correct. Max finishes ahead in sprint race so difference will be 20 points. DNF Lewis + win & FL for Max brings difference to 45. Max wins next race and Lewis finishes 2nd and neither get FL (Perez will steal it). Difference is 53. Lewis can only get within 1 if he wins the last 2 + FL's.

Last proper race track. And last chance for rain. Yes, there are still 3 races after Brazil, but they are only interesting in terms of the championship fight. And I guess Liberty Media needs its money, so good for them that some emirates are willing to pay anything for a GP.

Entirely possible if Max catches Covid. That would be some way to win the title

Pity the title can´t be decided this weekend, making the last 3 sand and oilmoney races irrelevant

Selfish me hoping it will be decided the 21st since that will be a bonus weekend with my kids and the race is at a time they can watch it.

For years it seemed a dream a Dutch driver would be able to win races, let alone titles and now I'm actually in a position to share both with my kids.
Brings back memories of me and my dad watching together.

We had two sunny days in a row this weekend in São Paulo. Can't see a blue sky coming this weekend

Nothing to gain, everything to lose. I predict at least one driver is going to start Sunday from the pits in a rebuilt car.

85 % chance of rain for Friday qualifying. Could well lead to an unusual grid, which leads to eventful sprint race, which leads Brawn to confirm his own biases, which leads Demonicali (typo, won't fix it) to confirm 15 new sprint races for next year, which leads old fans to go nuts.

For once I hope for a dry and dull qualifying

If it rains constantly throughout qlf, I don't see it creating a mixed up grid.

If it goes like 2010, drying to a point that the last guy starting a lap in Q3 has the best chance to be fastest, it could create something cool to see.

Hardly any rain on the models.

Can't see this race anyway, family dinner.

Not all the cars and parts have arrived from Mexico yet, some teams will have to work all night to have everything ready by Friday morning

if it rains, it'd barely an inconvenience

unless someone causes red flag at key moments

No race in Spa and no qualifying in Brazil. And probably Saudi Arabia cancelled altogether. What a weird season. And I don't think Covid has anything do with any of those. Just cases of unpreparedness.

With any luck this will put a bullet in the original schedule. Specifically the part around the sprint race.
