hope track marshalls can sweep the track before the race tomorrow to avoid incidents

looks like Bottas will make a poor start to allow Hamilton but not Max, and thus another easy win for Mercedes

Did Stewart say it was 50 years since Fangio's first title? He's getting old...

I thought he did. Can't blame him, time does fly.

Red Bull did exactly the same thing in COTA tbh. There's literally no point in any of them trying at 100% until Q2, the way the engine regs are

But Red Bull dominated on a "Sure Thing" Merc track and now Merc have pole on a "Sure thing" red bull track, there's no form book to rip up any more 8O

Well, there isn’t a “I don’t like the guys who win” clause in the subscription.

So people are unhappy at Mercedes newfound pace, but if Stappen does it the fanboys start partying.

It's called gamesmanship. :whistling: :whistling: :whistling:

I want Verstappen to win the championship, but I'm happy with this qualifying result. A red Bull front row would have resulted in a boring race. Now it will be exciting to see if red bull can outrace Mercedes. I hope Bottas and Perez will not interfere too much and we get a clean fight between Verstappen and Hamilton on track.

The run down to the first corner could be wild. I can see Bottas moving straight across to give Lewis the tow, but that might not work if Max manages to get the better start.

I can also see Bottas covering the inside and going too hard into turn one if there's a Red Bull on his outside. Both Mercedes have locked up badly in practice a few times there. Hopefully they will keep it clean, but I'm not confident.

I really hope what Max said yesterday, that thank God they wont drive on the softs anymore on race day.
I have watched a little bit the race starts in Mexico from 2017 - 2019 and mostly the two cars that started at the front got first in the first corner.
Except 2018 when Hamilton went from P3 to P2.
We will see....
But i hope RBRs race pace and strategy will win over Mercedes cuz they were strong on yellow and white tires. Or were Merc bluffing again?
