Best season since Rosberg retired

We had forgotten how intense it was when two evenly matched champions are going at it

Didn't think he'd pull it off but very very impressive car/tire management by Verstappen in the final stint to secure a fantastic win! :flag:

Tense race!!! Some good racing, and loved those podium scenes

couldn't had been a better strategy to stay out for longer and then put mediums to catch up easier in the final 10 laps?

all we know you cannot pass on this track unless you cheat it out on the runoffs like I do in racing sims

The race was tense because of what could have happened, but not because of what actually happened. Still, great to see that the two heroes of this year keep on being on the same level all year. Let´s hope it lasts till the end of the season, with Hamilton winning the last race but it´s not enough to keep Verstappen to win the title after he finishes second with a last lap battle with Bottas.

thought the battle between Max & Lewis late in the race was interesting. Still a chore to watch anything at CoTA (although I'll take CoTA or the shitty Miami Gardens parking lot track over seeing one of the good tracks getting yeeted for Grade 1 regulations)

regardless, it's awesome seeing F1 growing in popularity here in the States.

This is F1 2021 we're talking about. Whatever scenario we come up with, something crazier will happen

But thats what half of the 80s and early 90s where about too.
It didnt matter how fast you where as no car was absolutely bulletproof back then.

It wasnt always direct action but more like "will the car make it to the end?". Bit the same with Monaco or Indy 500. There 1 mistake is 9 out of 10 times race ending.

If all races where like this + the occasional real action I'd be fine with it. Better than watching 1 guy drive off in the distance.

the crowd yesterday was quite fun either. No matter who was winning they were yelling to each change of lead

So if this race happened in 2022 cars, is it too optimistic to assume that it would've been at least like a Bahrain 2014? They'd have been passing an repassing each other like it's the Michigan 500

First race I've got to watch live in a few years, and we had a public holiday on Monday so that was even better. Heart was racing until the end! :flag: :flag:
