Why did they stop with the monsoon tyres? I only remember them from F1 1997 on PlayStation, goodyears I believe. Never saw them being used for real though, might have been for the game only?

Yep. Then after the race they'd dry off, down a pint and go to a hotel with a supermodel. Those were the days

Monsoon tyres were also in GP3 and GP4. When they were dropped, can't remember.

Can't we just have a wet weekend where there isn't too much rain?

What is the backup plan? Sunday morning qualifying, or grid set by Friday times?

At least, thanks to the gravel runoffs, the car will stop before hitting the barier if something will go wrong in the rain

Let's be honest, Bridgestone/Firestone make the best racing tyres out there.

They rarely have any spontaneous failures, the wets don't turn to mush and you can push them.

Another downpour in twelve minutes.

They should have brought quali forward and run in this window.

The more delays, the more TV time and more chances for Sky to go to an ad break.
