He could have backed out of it like he's forced Hamilton to do a few times now.

:o

I guess Red Bull will try to nullify it by taking his engine penalty in Russia then?

Stupid decision, why cant FIA leave it as racing incident

Absolutely mentally disabled decision to give Max penalty from that. Who were The stewards?

What an embarrassing year the FIA are having. Absolute clownshow.

Verstappens best friend Garry Connely probably, he blames Verstappen every time. Wouldn't surprise me it's him again this weekend, this decision makes no sense. Hamilton turned into Verstappen, or am I blind?

:slaphead:
We can understand how the universe was created and how nuclear physics work, but we will never understand the decisions by F1 stewards.

So given the stewards have said it's fine to run an opponent off the track, as Lewis did at turn 1 in that incident, are they going to give Lando and Checo back their time penalties and license points from Austria?

The lack of consistency is, as always, the most infuriating aspect. And this is a far more damaging penalty for Max than Lewis' penalty was at Silverstone

That crash was hilarious. It reminds me of Schumacher and Hill in 95, who hit each other in yes, Silverstone and Monza.

This is stupid, license penalty points at most would've been more than enough. And a stern talking to both to fucking race alongside each other without one car systematically ending out of bounds.

Seriously when's the last time they fought and botj stayed within the white lines?

it seems since the introduction of the halo, it has been quite a number of times very important.

I just wonder then how come we didn't (almost) didn't had any incidents before that? I remember a few occasions (Alonso at Spa for example) where a halo could have been very useful too, but for some reason never ended in drama.

Could it have saved Bianchi for example? or the woman that had a freak accident but can't remember her name.

Maria de Villota. In her case I'd say 100% it would have saved her. It wasn't going fast and the part of the lorry she had hit went into the visor area, the halo would have taken the hit instead.

Dont know about Bianchi but it definitely would've saved Maria de Villota.
