Spa has hardly provided any memorable races since... ...so not expecting much. But this should be the last race there before the upcoming revamp. Has it been reported which corners exactly are getting gravel reinstated? Also I wonder if Raidillon will be reprofiled because of the Spa 24h shunts. That would a shame. Though, I wouldn't be surprised if they cancel those plans. Even Monza was supposed to go through changes years ago, but eventually nothing was done. |

Hamilton and Verstappen will collide in Les Combes, Bottas will inherit the win, will act like he´s still worthy. |

more like Hamilton causing a puncture over Verstappen and cruising to win again with the stewards seeing nothing wrong with it |

Unless you do it at the chicane or La Source, this isn't the place for Max to be seeking any revenge. |

Though, I wouldn't be surprised if they cancel those plans. Even Monza was supposed to go through changes years ago, but eventually nothing was done. Most of the corners (La Source, Combes, Bruxelles, Pouhon, Fagnes, Blanchimont and the Chicane) will get part gravel, part hydrocarbon run-offs instead of they current asphalt. From what I understand they're currently testing the hydrocarbon at Combes (the blue stuff). As for Raidillon it's actually a bit of a tricky situation as the land they need enlarge the run-off wasn't actually owned by the track, From what I understand they have now acquired it, but they will need to demolish a building and a portion of forest to create the space they need. There have been complaints and this specific plan is currently on hold until all the right permissions are in place. They plan to start works in februari, so they still have time, but obviously you never know with these kind of things. From what I understand the corner itself won't be reprofiled at all, so that should be good news! A complete new corner will also be created at Speakers Corner, for use on motorbike events only. The current corner will be maintained for cars. |

It's also the reason I'm not so sure all these changes to the circuit will happen quickly. Another reason is the entire region was devastated by flooding in July so there's other priorities for the Walloon governement than to make some changes to a racing circuit. I'm sure there's a cost with this and as the Walloon governement pumps money into the circuit, they won't have that readily available. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for the changes, but I don't see that happening in 2022 or 2023. |

However, I must say I think we had two good races not that long ago. 2017 had Seb charging Lewis and both going flat out until the chequered flag - not the obvious one but a good race for someone with the eye for it. 2019 had Leclerc defending against the Mercs, but the good race was totally dazzled by the death of Hubert the day before. |

He already gets enough airtime by Sky F1/FOM and it's gone to his head the last few years. The guy has definitely mastered his politician-speak. |
