So you're that kind of for example "football fan" that doesn't support your team but just want to destroy/do damage to enemy team city then?

As a fan of Kyle Busch you should know better when your driver is disliked by others ;)

I've survived the Ferrari fans blowing their fuse when Montoya had the nerve to elbow Schumacher on the Interlagos restart so I don't really care that much anymore what people think about my Russell comments :p

You're right about Busch stuff, but look that I'm not talking poop about him every race like you do. In fact, I was very worried about him after his Xfinity crash at Daytona. I just don't liked how he was ruining others races in lower classes, that's why I had Xfinity/Truck logos next to my avatar back in the days. Now it is gone. Gragson had more "hits" by us here on forum last time than Kyle, but he's also more "clean" now :D

Imagine if Max wins the title by less than 5 points.

I mean, he's already lost a win in Baku through no fault of his own, probably a win at Silverstone through no fault of his own, and a bunch of points if not a win in Hungary through no fault of his own. Add in that Lewis was incredibly fortunate at Imola and Silverstone to get away with his own mistakes, and I think Max is comfortably still in the red when it comes to luck this year

Ah yes... The dirtiest animals on this planet are humans.

Summer job during college was cleaning up grandstands during and after the races at a horse track. Most of my faith in humanity was lost at that time.

FIA and Masi are such idiots the race is officially classified after 1 lap. They couldn't even get the red flag in the right spot.

Half-points for 1 lap behind Safety Car! Luca Badoer must be wishing her was born 30 years later! :slaphead:

The FIA justified the decision to award points as usual because Max Verstappen had crossed the start/finish line three times, “therefore complying with the requirement for the leader to have completed more than two laps in order for half points to be awarded”.

I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt before but this is bullshit. If the results of the race say they completed 1 lap then they completed 1 lap. To all intents and purposes the second lap didn't happen. They can't just suddenly decide the second lap counted because it would really help them out in fulfilling their contractual obligation

If they count results of only the first lap, at least Mazepin loses his fastest lap because he did that in the 2nd lap. It's not much, but it's something.

Well technically they did do two laps, but because of the countback due to the red flag.

Simple thing would be to do like Indycar and NASCAR. Race isn't official until half distance is passed and come back the next day, weeks later to get that.

Right, but I've always been under the impression that anything not recorded in the official results effectively didn't happen. Something physically happening doesn't mean it officially happened. Eg. 2018 Canadian GP - they completed 70 laps on track but only 68 laps counted because the chequered flag was waved early. Ricciardo lost his fastest lap, Perez's overtake for 13th didn't count.

The FIA have essentially decided that the second lap happened today because it suits them.

Don't give the drivers a hard time, they had nothing to do with this.

This was the result of bureaucracy from start to finish.

Agreed on Lewis. I'm a big critic of him, but he had the right of it as far as the situation was concerned.

Yet it was Hamilton who said "F1 shouldn't be a billionaire boys club" earlier this season. And now he says "money talks". after all.

Yep, his hypocrisy is showing

Do you understand what words mean? The first quote says F1 should not be something. The second one confirms that it is the thing he said it should not be.

What's hypocritical about that??

I believe this will be standart MO every time it rains harder

but instead they should test more during wet weather instead of preventing superlicensed drivers from being all around specialists
