After 7 years someone is finally breaking the Merc and Hamilton dominance......Just turns out it is a driver that I very very much dislike.

Now excuse me.

Who's the reserve driver for McLaren? Can't seem to find it anywhere.

Norris is two points off a one-race ban.

Official reserves are Vandoorne, de Vries (because Mercedes would use Russell if neccessary anyway) and di Resta.

Wow, didn't know that. But man, his penalty was just pathetic. It was Montoya 2003 Malaysia pathetic.

It was 2002 actually but the year doesn't really matter. That was Ferrari International Assistance in full force.

They're Mercedes reserves, not McLaren's.

Don't think they'd share reserve drivers between teams, regardless of engine supplier?

Be nice if they got an Indycar driver in.

You are WRONG.

Thinking about it, Norris probably stopped gaining on Bottas because even if he had passed him, he would have lost the place anyway unless he could pull out five seconds. I don't think that would have been possible.

Erm, he took care of the penalty in the pit stop? :?

Oops - this would have been during the short period that I wasn't watching :slaphead:

I am indeed WRONG

Thank YOU for pointing it out so AGRESSIVELY

Their OWN website lists Will STEPHENS and Oliver TURVEY as their TEST drivers https://www.mclaren.com/racing/team/ but yes it does indeed appear I am WRONG.

It's actually Will Stevens, not Stephens ;) I tried not to be aggressive this time

You asked a question, I answered it. Then you you said I must be wrong when I was right all along. If you have no trust in people answering your questions then why ask them in first place? :whistling:

Why did you need to be aggressive the first time?

Because you automatically assumed I was wrong without even knowing the answer yourself.

Came for the race and it was great, specially to see all those orange Dutchies, it was really crazy how they love Max. And it was a nightmare to get on and off the track, but luckily not with a bike, you pass them all easy cuz there is always enough space. But after my 7years abscence from a GP, there was one thing that i missed (sure i knew it before i went to Austria GP), when the cars went past me for the 1st time at turn 3, why did not my ears hurt. Like the did 7 years ago, why wasnt the ground a bit shaking, i missed it alot at the beginning but i got quicky used to it.

Here are some pics from Sunday
