To see Toto and Mercedes reap the rewards of years of unterhunding.

Because now that they actually are second-best, and the team's efforts can't make any difference to that, the damage to their mental state will be significant.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

I wonder how many videos and articles are we going to see about how F1 should get rid of the track and with ideas for new layouts, like I got tired of seeing after Monaco.

What with fast banked corners being the new in-thing, there's no reason why they can't run the old Osterreichring now. Stick some SAFER barriers on it and you're good to go

Disappointing by Austria standards. Pirelli bringing anything different next week?

Yeah that was surprisingly processional for Austria's standards and rather disappointing. Pirelli are bringing C3/C4/C5 next weekend so hopefully it's hot and more deg.

Huh, perfect race to miss then.....
Even the Formula W race was better... :o

Not a great race to have a surprise Ben Edwards, but at least we got him on the radio last week for a good'un

Interesting how long Red Bull are gonna roll with having the fastest car...

More races like this and the championship will be long over before we get to the new old tracks at Melbourne and Abu Dhabi...

For all its possibilities, that was for me, by far the worst race yet of the season.

Only thing stopping RBR next year is if they spent too much time on this year.

The great irony of this mercedes era is it may just be looked back on as a brief 7 year pause of Red Bull's total dominance of F1

Enjoy this semi-compettitive year while you can, for F1 usually just goes from dominance to dominance

They should just cancel the new 2022 rules. Surprise! You spend all your budget, we keep these cars for another year. Will close up the field again, this season has been brilliant, it's still close between red bull and Mercedes. No one is dominating, Mercedes just had 2 bad street races where they made a lot of mistakes on strategy too. France they could have won, and the other races max won they could have won too. Only yesterday Red Bull was clearly the best, but that was the first time this season. I'm sure this coming weekend will be closer, wouldn't be surprised if Hamilton wins on softer rubber this time.

can't say that was good, but I liked seeing Mercedes struggling on pace

Pretty much this

This season is so "counter-intuitive" it hurts my brain to comprehend it. The RedBull has faster straight line speed than the Mercedes. We aren't used to this.

plus Red Bull doesn't blunder and knows how to fiddle with rulebook breaches better than Ferrari, they're big business when it comes up to win

my only worry about them is reliability, I know Honda will fail sooner or later and let Max with zero points eventually

That was my though too, I even thought Paul Ricard was a bit better though I really prefer Spielberg!
