I loathe Paul Ricard. There are bad tracks like Sochi and Abu Dhabi, but this one makes me sick. Most likely will only watch the start and skip the rest of the weekend. |

Let us skip this one. Just ignore that it exists, and meet again for the Styrian GP. |

I'll complain about this race every day and I don't care. All I can do is set the expectation to below zero and be surprised for the sole moment of excitement that might happen in FP2. But all I can remember of this race is that it sucked so much in 2019, and by being the lowest point of what had been a terrible season, that it was the first moment in my life that I seriously considered stopping watching F1. And it was awful in 2018 too, but it was during World Cup so it wasn't a big deal. |

this race should defined by bingo instead of cars running the track considering Hamilton's luck he would be the first to call and get easy 25 points |

Yeah, dig up the car parks and bring back grass and gravel. And ditch the chicane on the Mistral Straight |

have they ever had grass or gravel at Paul Ricard. Seeing old footage it was always that beige runoff that doesn't like gravel or tarmac |

It looked pretty nice in 1996. Pleasing, even. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HBLmKIUdPsk |

Some models are predicting a lot of thunderstorms in the south of France between Saturday and Sunday. Unclear when and where they will develop as it's still too early in the week. |

paul ricard was always a shithole. f1 should race at le mans bugatti instead. |

funny that Paul Ricard pratically inaugurated the concept of "safe racing venues" in contrast to the death traps that France ran ar Rouen and Charade (great tracks though) but they still had catch fencing in 1985 |

They should just find a way of using the airport as a part of the track. |

In sims, PR is one of the most confusing tracks to just find the apex at. Like picking a hair out of a sea of candy floss. |

This is a good test track. If I drive a scary rapid race car for the first time, this is where I would want to do it. Should it have grandstands and innocent civilians spectating on track and on TV? Hell fucking no. I don't get the forum though. On more challenging tracks, people fear the risk. This track is hated, yet it's a prime example that excitement comes with the corollary of danger. Admit it: you aren't all here for driving skill only, because this track requires a lot more skill than Baku for example. But it's a chore to watch in comparison. Even side by side racing makes little sense here. |
