Another anticlimactic ending for QLF. FIA conspiracy to make sprint races permanent?

This is why I hate these massively inflated seasons. It ruins records.

This season is almost 1,5 seasons for the likes of Senna.

plus when Senna raced it was way tougher for him to get the poles. You could see for some times Teo Fabi snatching the front start with a Toleman

But that can be a matter of perspective

Senna's seasons were 1,6 of a Jim Clark season

Yeah he needs to put his head down and settle it down a little bit. And questioning the team if he has the same car? Don't see what can possibly be gained by publicizing that. His star is fading rapidly...

Well, Lewis and Max were very close in the quail.

I have some expectations for the race still. But if Bottas has a good start that can fade quickly.

Any threat of rain still? F3 proved that DRS can be effective down the main straight, but not expecting much from F1. Happy to be proven wrong!

All of this is moving east but seems to be diverting more towards France.

Sounds like the most we can hope for is a Portugal 2020-type situation where we get a few laps of fun in drizzle before normal service is resumed

I'll take it, if it happens

Don't forget the first race here started in a bit of drizzle too, and it ended up with that classic shot of Mansell and Senna wheel to wheel down the front straight

Important to get our expectations unreasonably high, right?

I'll take anything to make this race half-decent. My expectations for Catalunya are as low as they can be for years.

It already rained in Imola. If it's going to rain AGAIN, this is truly a blessed season.

Not sure which race needs rain more, this one or Monaco...

Probably Monaco, but this is a close 2nd across the season

The headwind that contributed to all the overtaking in F3 yesterday has turned into a tailwind, just for some added boredom
