Not sure what Red Bull's plan is with Perez, if they're hoping he'll hold up Hamilton that's really clutching at straws

I think it was just the hope of the bullshit VSC giving them a free pitstop and the win, which would've been bullshit luck of the highest order.

Yeah, that made no sense if RBR thought Perez can hold up Hamilton.

Hamilton wanted blue flags for Perez. Mercedes arrogance has reached extra level.

He made one pitstop more than Schumacher. The gap was 24 secs. before that.

Anyone knows the actual penalty for not changing tires at all? Full on DQ?

It's moot now, but: yes

FIA Sporting Regulations wrote:
k) Unless he has used intermediate or wet-weather tyres during the race, each driver must use at least two different specifications of dry-weather tyres during the race, at least one of which must be a mandatory dry-weather race tyre specification as defined in Article 24.2(b). Unless a race is suspended and cannot be re-started, failure to comply with this requirement will result in the disqualification of the relevant driver from the race results.

If the race is suspended and cannot be re-started, thirty seconds will be added to the elapsed time of any driver who was unable to use at least two specifications of dry weather tyre.

Remember Monza 2010 when Vettel it on the actual final lap

Can't actually remember it being a benefit for them though

Schumacher might lunge at Latifi, Bottas might brake down but other than that, nope.
