Drivers Championship Top 6 1. Verstappen 2. Hamilton 3. Perez 4. Ricciardo 5. Russell 6. Bottas Constructor Top 5 1. Red Bull 2. Mercedes 3. McLaren 4. Ferrari 5. Aston Martin Constructor - Last Place Alfa Romeo Taking into account COVID, and the fact we have 23 races scheduled, with 2 TBA races (Saudi Arabia and Vietnam) How many races will we have in 2021? 21 Drivers to be Sacked Bottas, Alonso Driver Announcements/Silly Season Predictions for 2021-2022 Russell to Mercedes as Bottas Replacement. Gasly to Renault as Alonso replacement Any Drivers Retire? Bottas, Alonso, Raikonen Surprise Winner Ricciardo Norris Best Races Zandvoort Worst Races Saudi Arabia Wet Races Zandvoort, Monaco Most Disappointing Moments of 2021 Mercedes hanging on to Bottas for way too long. Most Exciting Moments of 2021 Russell trashing Hamilton after he replaced Bottas Make Bold Predictions - Bottas will throw several tantrums after being massively outpaced by both Red Bull, Hamilton, both McLarens and occasional other cars. Blaming everyone but himself. Gets the boot eventually. - Alonso deeply disappointing in Alpine's performance. Blames lack of commitment from Renault. Has a huge public falling out with Cyril and gets fired on live tv. - Mercedes made a mistake in the windtunnel. Car is not bad but not untouchable either while RBR-Honda got everything right from the get go for once. - McLaren 3rd best team. Not able to fight for wins regularly but both drivers pick up a win during the season. - Ferrari goes winless again - Vettel regains some of his glory and trashes Stroll every weekend. This brings a strain on their relation but they keep him on for 2022 anyways. - After replacing Bottas, Russell racks up a few wins and podium finishes resulting in him adding enough to his 2 points he scored with Williams to claim 5th in the standings. |

Drivers Championship Top 6 1. Hamilton 2. Verstappen 3. Bottas 4. Ricciardo 5. Perez 6. Leclerc Constructor Top 5 1. Mercedes 2. Red Bull 3. McLaren 4. Ferrari 5. Alpine Constructor - Last Place Williams Taking into account COVID, and the fact we have 23 races scheduled, with 2 TBA races (Saudi Arabia and Vietnam) How many races will we have in 2021? 20 Drivers to be Sacked Mid-Season: none (but we might see one or two covid stand-ins) End of the year: see below Driver Announcements/Silly Season Predictions for 2021-2022 - Mercedes cool on Russell and give Bottas another year - Gasly to Alpine in place of Ocon seems a dead cert at this point - Albon makes a surprise return to AlphaTauri in place of Gasly - Vettel has a stinker of a year and the team mutually agree to part ways, allowing Aston to sign Stroll's best buddy Ocon (despite everyone screaming at them to sign Russell) - The Alfa-Ferrari split leads to Gio and Raikkonen both leaving to be replaced by Lundgaard and Pourchaire for 2021 Any Drivers Retire? Raikkonen (sooner or later this will be right) Vettel Surprise Winner If we're defining this as anyone other than HAM-BOT-VER: Ricciardo Alonso Leclerc Best Races Bahrain Austria Netherlands (going for the safe bets that will actually be on this year) Worst Races Spain Russia Abu Dhabi Wet Races Netherlands Most Disappointing Moments of 2021 - Mercedes re-signing Bottas for 2022 - Mazepin's continuing career and the indulgence of his shitty behaviour by the sport - Vettel continuing to be a shadow of his former self and hoarding a seat that could go to someone with actual motivation - Ricciardo makes Lando look a bit shit - Tsunoda and Schumacher don't live up to expectations Most Exciting Moments of 2021 - Those first few races where it might look like we have a title fight on our hands - Sainz pushes Leclerc harder than expected in the races - Perez does enough to force Mercedes' hand on enough occasions that we have some interesting races - Ricciardo, Alonso and Leclerc winning at least one race - Hopefully Portimao gets that Vietnam slot and we get a good race there again Make Bold Predictions - Stroll beats Vettel - Mazepin is seen to have outperformed Schumacher - Sauber-Renault from 2022 - Latifi is noticeably closer to Russell - Haas gets a new name and identity for 2022 and Gunther gets the heave-ho - Monaco gets cancelled again and there are at least serious questions about the future of the event EDIT: Added Leclerc as a winner - wrote up my reasoning here |

Drivers Championship Top 6 1. Hamilton 2. Verstappen 3. Perez 4. Bottas 5. Alonso 6. Riciardo Constructor Top 5 1. Red Bull 2. Mercedes 3. McLaren 4. Alpine 5. Aston Martin Constructor - Last Place Williams Taking into account COVID, and the fact we have 23 races scheduled, with 2 TBA races (Saudi Arabia and Vietnam) How many races will we have in 2021? 18 Drivers to be Sacked Latifi Driver Announcements/Silly Season Predictions for 2021-2022 Russel to Mercedes Any Drivers Retire? Raikkonen Surprise Winner Alonso Best Races The ones with rain and many overtakes Worst Races the boring tracks like sochi, abu dhabi Wet Races 1 or 2, most likely only 1 Most Disappointing Moments of 2021 At the moment, not going back to Mugello, Portimao and Istanbul. But I'm sure that might change soon Most Exciting Moments of 2021 Hulkenberg getting the first podium for Aston Martin racing Make Bold Predictions Russel will drive a race for Mercedes again |

Drivers Championship Top 6 1. Hamilton 2. Verstappen 3. Bottas 4. Perez 5. Ricciardo 6. Sainz Constructor Top 5 1. Mercedes 2. Red Bull 3. McLaren 4. Racing Point 5. Renault Constructor - Last Place Williams Taking into account COVID, and the fact we have 23 races scheduled, with 2 TBA races (Saudi Arabia and Vietnam) How many races will we have in 2021? 19 Drivers to be Sacked none Driver Announcements/Silly Season Predictions for 2021-2022 rumours that Verstappen would join Mercedes. Any Drivers Retire? Vettel, Alonso, Raikkonen, Mazepin Surprise Winner Perez, even though that would not surprise me too much Best Races Monaco Canada Australia Viet-Nam Worst Races Monaco Canada Australia French Zandvoort Wet Races Belgium Most Disappointing Moments of 2021 Mercedes all over again Most Exciting Moments of 2021 a race where weather conditions are very, very variable Make Bold Predictions I see Haas and Williams going to struggle, and might not make it. And therefore it will be decided that teams can 'buy' a car / chassis instead of investing tens of millions and in the end they all look the same if you would paint them in the same colour. |
