If those rumors are true and Alonso does go to Aston, how badly does that reflect on Renault/Alpine? Their two big names signings saying nah, later dudes.

Maybe they could get another youngster to replace Alonso.

Kovalainen, for instance.

Well obviously I want Piastri in the car. I just find it interesting that their big marque signings didn't, and possibly? don't want to stick around.

So true about Alonso! He could have been a huge fish in a small pond in IndyCar, but he took the money and ran, leaving unfinished business. I didn't like him by the end of his first F1 stint, grew to love the guy at Indy, but he lost me again taking the payday with a shitty midfield team and turning his back on Indy.

Depressing thought of the day: after this exciting and suspenseful triple header with so much drama and novelty, we're headed for Sochi next race.

Bottas is already rubbing his hands waiting for another tangling between Lewis and Max, just to get his final one

Russia is where he got his first victory, and where he typically outperformed Lewis before being given one of the worst team orders in history. Being so pumped after his Monza run, fully expect to get Porridge Valtteri.

While we're here discussing the Monza incident, Hamilton has already moved on and is attending to his extra-curricular activities in NYC:

I'm not a fan of Lewis, but this guy is cool at a level no one else in F1 is. That's it.

At least the right guy collected all the trophies these years because if it was any other guy there F1 would be just a go-kart championship right now.

And some people are still saying he wasn't hit in the head on Sunday.

Enough people told him to go fuck himself so he decided to marry himself first.

I missed the days when Dennis Rodman was the most outrageous person out there, not giving fucks and showing up dressed up as bride

they don't understand the value of not giving fucks, they just want to showboat
