I absolutely dig the orange and blue

It's also nice how the primary/secondary colors are opposite between the car and driver suits.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't more fast sweeping corners worse for overtaking?

It should be ok, main overtaking is done on the first corner

I love the look of it. Just surprised that they've actually done it! If the new 9/10 sweep is going to be flat out, then the Lakeside Drive section is going to be incredibly fast, narrow, and borderline dangerous (imagine trying to make a move on Max, on a 200mph kink with walls either side). It will be fantastic to see the speed that they carry through there and how it will affect the 11/12 chicane. The layout almost reminds me of Thruxton (a couple of slow chicanes and then a high speed back section). I wonder if any of the teams will try a lower downforce setup.

The first section looks the same, which is good, because that's where most of the racing already happens. The only negative from an event point of view is that 9/10 looked like a popular spectator bank, but I'm sure they can build another one elsewhere. It's not as if there was any ever action there.

Doesn't widening and adding camber to turn 13 defeat the purpose of reprofiling 9/10? I would have thought the benefit of the longer fast sweeping section is a bigger brake zone at the next slow corner, why negate that by allowing them to carry more speed into it?

Woops indeed, sounds like nothing will change.

This was my initial reaction too, but thinking about it, their speed at the exit of 12 and entry to 13 is going to be the same as before, because it's still limited by turn 11/12. So I don't think they're negating anything, but I'm also not sure how much overtaking these changes are realistically going to create. But either way, I'm all for changes that make the track faster

Been using the "new" layout since 1997 (F1 97 on PS1 that is).

BWT Might go to Haas or Williams after endings its deal with Aston Martin.

Please let it be Haas. Seeing Mazepin race in a pink car would be fun.

Exactly, we weren't cheating, we were pioneers ;)

F1 caught up with us eventually. :whistling:

I don't know if it's the pictures or the angle, but the new AlphaTauri looks boxy in the front half.

Latest rumor is they're getting BWT so it will sport pink.

Looks like BWT and Williams won't be happening. Sorry, I don't know how to embed a twitter post.

Doesn't surprise me though. I'd hold out for that sweet sweet Rich Energy money as well :D

Livery is ok but the chassis is horrible. I don't know what it is but the wheelbase looks absurd in these images. Maybe it's the livery.
