That could have easily been a flip. Quite rare incident.

Otmar trying to blame Max but just comes across as showing why Stroll is at fault.

Went away during the Gasly fire red and come back to them just restarting and thought it was a long clear up, what did I miss in between? :?

Verstappen could have backed out but he was beside him for a while before they collided. Maybe 'rona affected Stroll's eye sight?

Stroll was on a hot lap, DRS wide open, had at least half of his car ahead of Max at all times...yet he's expected to back off, ruin his lap and lay down the red carpet for Crashtappen? Sorry but I don't see that as being on Stroll at all. If Max had got his car squarely alongside or his nose slightly ahead whilst in the braking zone then yes, but that wasn't the case.

Today's joke:

"Why was the Alpha Tauri fire so big?

Because it was a GAS fire"

Thank you, thank you, I'm here all weekend. Sadly

Agree. It was plainly obvious that Stroll wasn't going to bail out when they were reaching the corner. Max on the other hand could have. He just assumed that Stroll would yield. The onus was on Max in this one.

But could be a lovely preview of things to come in the race (probably won't...but I can dream right?)

Rain clouds will circulate the track whole day and when the race is about to start, there appears a divine opening in the cloud cover and the sun will shine for the blessed.

Yeah I doubt there will be any rain before 4 pm. None of the models expect the weatherfront to move in before the end of the race.

It will be close though, we'll see the rain in the area.
