Spa's had some pretty ordinary races over the years. Don't rely on this place to deliver.

That DRS Zone on S/F might be the most useles one of the season. They should do one between 15 and 18.

Not to remove anything from you said, but there is at least one worse DRS zone: Hungary between 1 and 2.

DRS zone should be mandatory to all cars from the end of Source until Combes, to make Eau Rouge a challenge again

plus something to avoid corner cutting

Models looking good for some rain during the weekend.
So that's a Merc 1-2.

i think the idea there is to create a set-up for the other DRS zone

If the purpose is to create a better race, the backstretch one is even worse as it kills any chance of a great racing spectacle by just handing over overtakes left and right.

Spa is one of the fewest tracks that you can mandate DRS on for the whole race

Looks pretty wet for Sunday. Then again, this is F1, so probably just 60% chance for the whole race.

It's Spa, it is immune to mere human predictions of what the weather will be like

It might rain, it might not, but it'll definitely be different weather to the other villiages even just 1 mile away.

Post subject:  Re: Formula 1 Rolex Belgian Grand Prix 2020

considering official forecasts, it'll be bone dry meaning a mercedes 1-2

if it gets mildly wet allowing race will be at least one mercedes in 1st, that the 44

if it gets really wet then is victory of pussyfication

Post subject:  Re: Formula 1 Rolex Belgian Grand Prix 2020

I doubt we'll see any rain on Sunday at the moment, most rain/showers should be on Saturday. One thing is sure: it will be cool, just about 17°C.
Perfect conditions for Mercedes to kill the field.

JJ cool to see you back, but leave the predictions to the expert.

To get in the zone:

Latest model run: Friday decent weather, Saturday a stormy afternoon, Sunday could have some showers around like in Budapest.
