One thing that's interesting is the teams didn't learn from Silverstone to maybe run a 2 stop race as a precuation if there's an early SC

But nope, sitting around on a one stop strategy and coming close to losing results to punctures seems to be the way these guys wanna run the races

Seems stupid to me but I'm just a viewer sitting on the safety of my couch, not a strategist that has to deal with the risk of sending one of our drivers into eau rouge on a tyre that could puncture at any moment

Would be so funny if winner actually said; yeah was a walk in the park no issues with the car was an easy race. Everyone else sucks.

and then he says it wasn't all that easy. Yeah right, the temperatures were lower so it was all under control

about time for FIA to take Mercedes power like they did with Ferrari

at least to level up. Liberty is losing so much money

Slept through the entire thing. Bottas continues to be the obedient little bitch to Hamilton that he is.

Bottas looked perfectly placed to have a run at Lewis out of La Source on the first lap. He has to have backed off in Eau Rouge to create a gap. Pathetic that we have one team that dominant, but the drivers aren't even going to race each other.

specialists say that Hamilton lift on purpose to disallow any move

had he done that with Rosberg there'll be punctures all over the place and Toto banging the table

We knew it already but this race proved once again that majestic circuits don't automatically make for a great race. Yea, it's fun to watch them blast through Eau Rouge, Pouhon and Blanchimont (neither really a challenge anymore as they once were, it has to be said) but that wears off a quarter into the race when you have to hold your eyes open with matchsticks.

I put 100% of the blame on the cars and 150% of the blame on Mercedes

I think Hamilton lifted so that Bottas had to lift as well and didn't get too close on Kemmel and that worked very well.

Actually I was enjoying the track and camerawork a lot more this race than last

For that I'd rate it slightly better than the dullness of Spain, plus we had a couple drivers on fresher tyres burning through the field

I'd have loved to have sat on Kyvat's onboard tbh, might have been a lot more fun then

FIA must have the right to trigger a mechanical failure once a Mercedes jumps ahead or if Lewis starts complaining in vain

for the God sake give them a reason to complain

It was a sad indictment on the series when Martin Brundle was literally begging Bottas to make the race competitive...on lap 3.

Don't think they'll use that in the promos.

Bottas is almost the perfect driver for Merc (there is still no way he should ever be behind Max, but all's well when Lewis is in front. He would be turfed out on current performances if Red Bull was on par with Merc and actually had a second driver) but he is absolutely the worst driver for F1 fans. When he is racing against Hamilton he is simply spineless. Fucking grow a pair Valteri and just send one down the inside.

Did you enjoy your relaxation during this snoozefest?

I was watching Ben Hur. I made the right choice.
