Jeez, red flagging the session without immediately showing the reason just gives you a heart attack. I though someone had flipped over the barrier or something.

Big air from hitting a poorly designed kerb, of which the sole purpose is to prevent cars from using an unnecessarily large run-off area. Wonderful. That's modern motorsport for you.

Both Ferraris slower the Alfas in FP2...

To go from securing pole position and the race victory to basically being the slowest 6 cars in a span of a year at the same track...yeah those were some real 'interesting' engines Ferrari were running last year alright. That's an obscene performance drop.

It's just crazy how much aerodynamic detail this car has:

So are Mercedes holding back or could we actually have a proper race on Sunday?

It might be closer in qlf thanks to the ban of party modes but Mercedes should be even stronger in the race now they say.

They changed to banning it from Monza.

Ferrari could do their job tomorrow and block the Mercedes to keep both in the Q1

at least we'll see some overtaking
