I believe he said that yesterday. Still not a certainty, but looks like we'll see Perez back this weekend.

It's a shame that Perez wasn't racing last weekend. He is one of the best drivers on the grid at looking after the tires. I wonder if he could have used the same strategy as LeClerc, and threatened the Mercedes for a podium finish. Of course, it's possible that the Racing Point would have been bad on its tires, if it's so similar to the Mercedes.

Stroll dropped like a stone in the last 10 laps of the British Grand Prix and I'm pretty sure that was because he was either conserving whatever tyre life he had left or had already used them up and had nothing to fight with

Then there's a whole Hulkenberg Sabotage/tyre issues(delete as applicable) and, well, I wouldn't be rushing back if I was Perez, or thinking going there was a good idea if I was seb...
