I don't think we have to worry about it too much until the paddock is sitting in australia wondering what plane to catch

A month and a half is a long time, it could be burned out by then or much, much worse, we just dont know at this stage and making any predictions either way isn't going to help atm

the rumours are getting good, but Lewis heading to Ferrari I can't see to much sense, since they made a long term with Leclerc

only if Lewis quit F1 on top after winning 7th title and other records and then going to the Formula E effort with Mercedes

Russia has been banned by WADA but Sochi stays. It is really hard to cancel a race, especially one paying a lot for it.

Stroll wants to become major stakeholder in Aston Martin

Did I miss this before or has someone posted it? Red Bull Aston Martin will be a thing of the past if this becomes reality.
Bloomberg is reporting Stroll is in pole position at the moment to buy 230 million euro worth of shares.

Confirmed: https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/indu ... ton-martin

Racing Point becomes Aston Martin in 2021, Red Bull sponsorship ends this year.

I liked Korea too. Separating the fast sections from the twisty sections was kind of unique for a Tilkedrome. It certainly wasn't great, but at least it was a little different than the others.

Turkey would have been a classic in the days of grass and gravel runoff. T8 would have been daring.

so he's still up to buy Mercedes operation or he's keeping the former Jordan?

If Mercedes leave (which I think is quite likely, they're more formula E than formula 1 right now), we'll be down 2 cars, instead of Stroll/Wolf buying Merc and turning it into Aston Martin, which was the rumour

well, Stroll could also take his team to Brackley and sell what's left from Force Point Racing India to Dmitry Mazepin

Yeah, it's quite likely Stroll Snr will buy the best team possible to put Stroll Jr in to continue underwhelming

When he first came to the sport, he could've bought Manor to allow Lance to learn away from the spotlight, but nope, he wanted to buy his way to the top, and at that time, Williams was like the 3rd best team (remember those days lol)

tarmac runoff wasnt the biggest problem with that track. it was the size of the runoff areas, it felt like they designed them as if f1 cars would approach each corner with 400 kph. that complety spoiled the character of a otherwise great circuit.

Has Hamilton already announced to the world how much faster the Ferrari will be than his car and how difficult this season will be?

It's just as regular as DC saying this is his year.

then they'll tune it down for race reliability and rape the field as usual

unless some team cheat their way to the top as the "necessary evil to fight the greatest evil"

Protip: don't believe anything any team says until qualifying in Australia

A) They probably don't know either

B)Even if they do know, they will never say "Yeah, looking shit this year, gonna be a bad one, might as well quit and focus on the new rules" etc

Even Williams will make noises about points and podiums this year, mark my words

Meanwhile, no shits will be given by me about form until Melbourne.

Hamilton and Mercedes will win again, once mathematically sealed, they will announce they're leaving after the end of season.

Then Hamilton buys the team, names it after himself and wins his record 8th title with a car bearing his name making him the 2nd driver to do so.
