Albon passed Perez on the grass! :D

He really knows he needs to put the hammer down to keep his RBR place.

Had to be a failure on Gio's car the way it went round like that.

Stroll wasn't lapped so he gets 10th. Norris will be classified 11th.

Albon 5th!

This is the worst injustice that of all the people to be promoted to the points, it's THAT GUY

Nothing to celebrate after that finish. Happy for Leclerc but this weekend is more lows than highs, of course.

When did they show it, my stream has been cutting out all day so looks like I missed that?

After the interviews and before the podium ;)

The rear of the car broke away and he did a 360 before crashing into the tires. I'd say something broke on the car.

They showed Gio's crash when drivers were in the room waiting for the podium.

Kinda "Winkelhock, 1983" like. (the german driver lost a wheel before crashing)

Something I've been thinking. It's crazy that Leclerc is quite a melancholic guy (at least this is the impression that strikes me about him) whose trajectory is marked by dear people dying, and his maiden victory comes exactly in a race with grievance all around.

Very impressed by Albon today. Very ballsy drive there and the kid's got a good head on his shoulders and should be a fast learner. Can't wait to see him getting in Max's mirrors and hassling him.

Albon's drive was good, but one driver who I thought drove really well and was barely mentioned, was Kvyat. Started two places below Albon, but was only 8 seconds behind him at the finish. Also finished 20 seconds ahead of Gasly, who had started higher up the grid.

Yes, like Bakou 2017, when he won the race just after losing his father.

Youtube's put up the race highlights and it has an onboard of Giovinazzi's crash, which I don't think it was shown in the world feed. The hit was very strong, his head almost hit the steering wheel and the T-cam got knocked off. (apologies, but Youtube's GUI doesn't go away when a video is paused in full screen)
