Hungaroring might not be the best track for Ferrari and their car designed for max speed, but 1 minute behind is far from acceptable.

Damn man, you think this is about race?

Let me take you back one day:

Jezus Christ, he just oozes "douchebag"

The day after, the man referred to as "douchebag" is wearing something that resembles of a shower cap. Shower... Douche... Showercap... Douchebag. The irony. So hey, let's make a joke about it.

I hate to have to explain jokes. But not as much as I HATE SOMEONE BEING AS STUPID AS THIS FOR GIVING A SIMPLE REMARK LIKE THAT A RACIST UNDERTONE.

This is no joke now, I am seriously offended by your remark and I demand an apology.

Again its not about race its about different things people wear.
For me personally seeing someone with a cap is not special or strange.
Fabs and you Omega i guess dont know are maybe not so familiar with braids or afro's maintenance , so thats why and probably for most people not familiar with the hairstyle a cap looks like a douchebag.
From what i have seen Hamilton wears his hair in braids a lot this season and with that he wears his cap to protect.
I understand the joke its just simple humor nothing wrong with it.
I wish it was a real douchebag that would be a laugh.
Mind you people who have this hairstyle or afro's wear these caps/ douchebags a lot.
Again its nothing special.
Neil maybe went a bit overboard with the race thing.
However the haircaps Lewis wears are not the clothing that will be associated what white people wear unless they haive braids or afro perm like Bob Ross.
I bet Bob Ross had a haircap to with his fro.
I guess in a pretty white world like f1 it certanly looks like a anomaly.

Wow, went out to do home duties after the checkered flag and missed the most fierce battle of the day, which happened right here in the forum.

Russel got a P16, beating Stroll and Giovinazzi in pure race pace. Williams slowly looking like a decent F1 team.

No, that's Stroll and Giovinazzi.

Watched the race from turn 1, overall was a good race with a fair bit of battling down the order that didn't make the coverage. Gasly, Riccardo and Bottas all stalled behind slower cars, even with DRS there's still some work to be done with overtaking.

Must say the spectator experience wasn't great - the trackside commentary was completely inaudible, and the world feed coverage bad no sound so no team radio. I was with some people who don't watch F1 often and if I hadn't explained what Hamilton was doing they'd have had no clue. Also the videos between the sessions were worse than a few years ago at Monza, not something I expected with Liberty taking over.

Watching the race late, I was fascinated about how this race would go down on the forum

I thought it had exactly everything people seem to want from f1.
Ie flat out racing
Differing strategies
Race win in doubt until the end
Tyre degradation and....oh yeah
Overtaking

Great passing early on (shout out to the 2 torro rosso running side by side for longer than most people expected and not hitting each other that didn't even get mentioned here, you can bet Steiner will be showing that video to his drivers in the break. Before firing one or both of them hopefully)

But i get here and people are more interested in what lewis is wearing on his head on the podium?
Wtaf?

Seriously do some of you not like racing at all and are just in this to hate other human beings and the bits when they get in the cars and race gets in the way of all that?

Imo another tast race. We're/4
This lewis and max thing could be good for the rest of the season and hopefully a warm up for 2020.

So f1 is in an upswing atm, but would you know it based on here? ::?

Just finished whatching. Classic dry race. I always dream of watching a close head-to-head battle, this was just like it, apart from having the second place car pitting again, instead of trying to overtake for 20 some laps. But it's Hungaroring, not Silverstone....

So, the streak continues.

I can get behind this. Grosjean's antics have grown old now and aren't funny anymore. And K-Mag has once again proven that he is willing to send someone head-first into a fence for a 14th place, for fuck's sake. Good thing F1 drivers keep their cool better than us, I'd have just smashed into the bastard at the hairpin and called it a day, but that's probably why I'm not trusted with a 2-million dollar car.

And one of the drivers involved in this battle was Kvyat. Who, in the past, also took a teammate out by being stubborn in a battle. Shows he has learned something from his mistakes, unlike Haas drivers.

I still believe that Verstappen could had widened the first turn like Rosberg did to spice things up and make this race 10/10

This was actually entertaining as:

- Dry race
- Hungarian GP
- Hamilton win
- Without wrecks and/or safety car randomness

Which is rare, but this comes down to so many things changing from T2 to last few laps so it was difficult to foresee the outcome. Hamilton really proved himself with his T4 overtaking attempt and recovery.

I rate this higher than German GP and that's purely because of real battles and not for random crashes and strategies that wet weather generates.
