LeClerc blames it on the wet surface. Oh boy, it's getting into his head, isn't it? He wants grip in the wet? Classic example of a video game driver who has NEVER raced in conditions that punish mistakes. He thinks he can get away with every single mistake?

Sorry Charles, suck it up!

And don't forget that the Albon and Gasly incident is still under investigation, so if Alex is penalised for his late defensive move then there could be two Williams scorers. Also, what happened to the investigation into Lewis driving too slow behind the SC?

Leclerc must be out of his mind.

He was the only driver to go off there multiple times. Everyone else either had their race done on the first mistake or were able/lucky to recover, but did not went off again.

He reminds me of 2018 Max Verstappen. Agressive, fast, but often prone to mistakes. Still I think he is the future for Ferrari to build around.
Verstappen has matured so much in second part of 2018 and 2019. No mistakes, clean aggressive races ,taking all what is possible with the car.

I feel like this is a great solution for low speed corners with tarmac run off. Exit of La Source for instance, just cover the fucker in Tide

I noticed that too. They said Hamilton was on investigation for being too slow on SC and even the icon of 'under investigation' disappeared and nothing was said about the incident.

Tast:

WET RACE FINALLY!
Standing start after sc start (we are witnessing the testification of f1 :8: )
Damn good seats in final turn (very brazil 03 just spread out over the entire race)
Spin N Win
So many redemption stories (max loses places, wins. Vettel 20th to 2nd, Kvyat etc)

Sos
Nail in the coffin for Gasly's career. New red bull driver in the summer break, probably Kvyat
Stroll fluking a lucky result during due to his team being great with strategy so uneducated fans will think he's actually good (spun at least twice iirc)
Championship neutral
And probably worse of all: b.s. penalty for unsafe release.
(Teams will feel emboldened now to make pit lane more dangerous by releasing their cars into traffic, because it'll just cost them a fine at worst)

I very much look forward to our next wet race in 2022

So Hamiltons too slow under SC was because of his off and the way he went into the pits.

Fantastic race, probably race of the season. Was interesting just how slow and unstable the cars are in the wet - are they so aero dependent now?

Saw a couple of the post race interviews - Bottas suggested his mistake was partly pressure from the team to get on the podium. I know people are saying he should have got past Stroll but Hamilton didn't make much progress once he wasn't up front, and we've seen in the past the Mercedes is a much worse car mid pack than in clean air, Bottas said he was pushing as hard as he could.

Toto basically admitted the team had been distracted this weekend by the anniversary celebrations, doubt he'll allow anything like that again in the future, especially whilst championships are still to be decided.

Polish media report both Alfas were handed a 30 secs. penalty so Kubica moves up to 10th! :8:

Robert Kubica, Williams first point scorer, who would've thought it

Extra 2 points for Lewis too.... :whistling:

P.S. if Haas don't fire both of their drivers over the summer break, THEY are the focking vankers

In the same way, Vettel spent a huge amount of race unable to get past Kimi.

I think the most important lesson Mercedes can take coming out of Germany is as follows: No more one-off liveries.

Kubica had to teach his engineer about the advantage of a free pitstop during the wave-around. No wonder they're struggling so much if the smartest guy is actually in the car and not the pitwall
