Well if Vettel's move in Canada was a penalty then that is a clear cut penalty

Yeah, this tbh. Could have been an amazing win with a pass this late but today’s drivers just default to pushing people out wide even when there’s no need.

Absolutely nothing wrong with that pass, aggressive, that is all. Wonder what is McLaren thinking :p

No way that's a penalty

Which in FIA terms is a slam dunk definite penalty

What a terrible sport we are watching, awful, boring terrible lol

From the worst race in decades to one of the best of the season...amazing

Seriously, if there is any penalty for the Verstappen/Leclerc pass, I quit from F1.
(And I would have loved to see Charles winning that one).

No way they can mess this up. Liberty might as well sell F1 if they force a penalty here.

This! Either they are consistent or it's a total farce. I don't think the stewards should decide a race but if Canada was enough for them to intervene than surely today is too.

No penalty = inconsistent

Penalty = f1 ruined again

That unnecessary Canada penalty has put the stewards in a hole

There was no passing in Canada so you can't compare that one :slaphead:

This ‘entitled to the corner’ bullshit drives me mad. You have to hold your line and leave room if you’re not alone in the corner. Otherwise you’re just demanding one driver concede...which isn’t racing.

Also laughable that the commentator is already comparing this to the Vettel penalty, which was a completely unrelated situation.

The people who promote the sport don't control the race meeting stewards lol

Fans: We want less penalties, LET 'EM RACE

Fans when their favourite team/driver gets passed: OMG PENALISE HIM! PENALTY! MORE PENALTIES!

For me, there is nothing wrong with the pass. Not fair, but agressive. that's what we need in motorsport.

But I guess FIA will stick with the rule book and penalized Max.

You really think Liberty doesn't talk to these stewards at some point? You are very naive indeed.

“If those things aren’t allowed then what’s the point...”

Just driving someone off the track isn’t a good look you dipshit.
