You might be right, Lucas, but I don't want to jinx it. Besides, Hamilton and Vettel never crash into each other, it's just something that these two great world champions never do. How in the world it could possibly happen here right at this moment to give the Finns their first ever double win? That will not happen, if you look at the statistics. There's just no way Vettel and Hamilton could possibly collide.

Vettel should have hit Lewis much harder and take them both out. Stupid Vettel...

F1 is so filled with gimmicks, can't they just create one to fuck Mercedes?

It's nice to be wrong.

What the fuck do I watch whilst doing my ironing today then?

Renault have put in a protest against the legality of the Haas car.

It's apparently something they havn't been happy about for a while but have seen something this weekend that makes them believe it's the right time to put in the protest.

Good race, Lewis was really impressive today. Phenomenal! Overtake "on track" the best F1 cars, twice, in the Ferrari's nest.

Who said that actually it's only possible to win with the best car? Looks like Hamilton has not yet forgotten Silverstone...

Yes, I'm Lewis fan.

Good race, Lewis was all race on Kimis rear wing and he destroyed his tyres, cuz he had to push all the time.
Well for HAM/VET incident its VETs fault, he braked a bit late, Lewis gave him space he was on outside anyway.
MSC did the same mistake in 2004 i think
Well VET looks like didnt watch the 2003 race, when MSC and Montoya showed how its done without touching.

He watched the 2010 one when Lewis broke his steering on Massas car, he can be happy he continued..

Lewis snatches victory from the jaws of defeat, Sebastien snatches defeat from the jaws of victory.

According to Ted, they had to put the protest in by this weekend, otherwise whatever it is, is declared legal, they aparantly asked the FIA for clarification earlier in the season and consequently didn't like the reply they got, so I guess this weekend is when the appeal period ran out.

Good job by Ferrari and Vettel to fuck up in front of their Tifosi.

They should be ashamed, what a clownshow.

More on this, right after this

(IE, when an official source can be found)

Funny how only Grosjean's floor is illegal. KMags isn't.

Also funny how Renault only protest the 1 Haas car that scored points to moved Renault down to 5th.

Apparently the FIA warned them before the race that their 'plan' to solve it (Literally "We'll have it fixed by Singapore, but it's because our suppliers might take too long") would leave them open to protest as of this weekend. They also pointed out that 'at least one other team' got it fixed in the same timescale.

I think it's fair play by Renault, to be honest.

Surprisingly, this turned out to be one of the best races of the year! Hamilton kept the pressure on Kimi all race long and overtook him on track, two things that we don't see often in modern F1.

This race was really enjoyable, nail-biting almost end to end.

Vettel is disappointing though. I really think that Hamilton deserves the title better as a driver, and Mercedes as a team because they really play their cards beautifully race after race.

Sure they "sacrify" Bottas from time to time, but they always seem to do it sensibly and only when he isn't a contender for victory anymore, not disgustingly like Ferrari does with Kimi. My heart was with Ferrari this season for some reason, but I admire what Mercedes, Hamilton and Bottas are currently doing. Masterclass F1 stuff, from driving to strategy to race tactics, in an arguably slightly slower package.

Did anyone notice Kimi signing a flag when on the podium, only to get hit by the flagpole seconds after?

Yea, I agree with this completely. It's gotten harder to support Ferrari anymore and I'm entirely convinced now that Vettel simply lacks composure under pressure that Hamilton has in spades by this point and thus deserves the title.
