Mercedes can thank wet weather for the past two weekends. Without that this would have been two easy Ferrari wins. The pit stop errors today just gave a little extra buffer.

So i guess now we have a 2nd half of the season where Ferrari (with the fastest car) get to play underdog and overhaul mercedes lead, instead of how it would've been, Ferrari with the dominant car and a huge lead in the title walking to the championship

Reminds me of the reverse of last year really, Ferrari were on form and dominated Hungary before the summer break, only for Mercedes to overhaul them in the 2nd half.

There is one further year until the 20th anniversary of Spa 1999 :whistling:

It'll be raining dry and the track will be WET dry

The racing will be, to put it very, very mildly indeed, absolutely suicidally boring.

10 secondes penalty for Bottas, but it doesn't change anything to the final rankings.

2 points less on his licence too.

But nothing for Vettel squeezing Bottas into contact the lap before?

The FIA: where only the car behind can cause a penalty worthy incident :slaphead:

Called it, didn't I?

Meanwhile, Toto upset Valtteri by calling him a wingman then somehow turned that into complaining about words being twisted by the journos...
