He probably will if it is, he is a racer at heart

It seems we're stuck with a season with a close championship filled with excruciatingly dull races.
All that changes is the car at the front that is dominating.

Though do love the fact that the only time we didn't endlessly speculate about the chances of rain, we actually got some :P

Or that his son was named Gilles, which is incredibly touching.

Pironi's wife gave birth to twins soon after Didier's fatal boat racing accident. The boys are named Didier and Gilles. Good to know one of them made it to F1.

I really hate how everyone in/around Formula 1 is basically saying the race is going to be dull with no/little overtaking before the race has even started. Overtaking may well end up been super difficult & the race may indeed end up been dull but been so down on everything isn't how you promote your sport.

You stand zero chance of attracting new fans if all there hearing from those that are supposed to be selling it to them is how shit it all is & how shit the race that is about to start is probably going to be.

But the sport is obviously broken.

I'd rather they do that than pull a NASCAR and go all "Everything is GREAT! Anyone who says anything against us is an enemy and we'll fine our drivers for telling the truth about the sport"

Honestly is more important than corporate PR bullshit

Aspects of F1 do need fixing & I don't want those involved to not be able to criticize things that need to be criticized. I just feel that they could be a bit more sensible in what they say & when/how often they say it.

Just getting a bit tiring of hearing nothing but negatives.

Huge amount of runoff, biggest start crash of the season

Makes sense.
