Been some good racing so far.

FOM should show Alonso as he's having a nice scrap with the Williams. Were side by side a bit ago.

Bottas stuck in traffic while Vettel is flying.

So, I guess the Ferrari was better in race conditions.

= Vettel ruined another possibility to win or score points.

I'm a Lewis hater and a pro Ferrari, but the only F1 driver who never ruined an occasion to win is Hamilton. Vettel still does incredibly weird and stupid mistakes, even with his palmarès. Can't believe it.

Edit : unless Bottas 's car is more damaged than I think.

Haas-Ferrari, Sauber Ferrari, junior drivers, team-mates

Races like this make you realise how many allies Ferrari have down the field ;)

Vettel has had the door opened for him by a lot of drivers, meanwhile Bottas is currently stuck behind a Haas
It's not rocket science

Also apparently he has floor damage, so there's that too

Not only are they jumping the fuck out of the way, but in the mean time they make FIA to keep that chicane. :slaphead:

Bottas with the overtakes of the race so far, two brave moves on the Renault and Haas

Plus the Williams are at the back and one FI is out so Bottas only gets the one easy pass.

I think overtaking is much easier at that chicane than the high-speed corner at the end of a would-be full Mistral straight. Otherwise, it would be a worsened version of any Tilke track.

It's because we had low expectations and there are people out of position.

Maybe scrap quali and have them start in reverse championship order?

15 laps to go, and this thread has less than 10 pages.

15 years ago, we would be around page 50, or even 80. I don't complain a lot, but I really miss old times.

This is not a good race. This is only Vettel and Bottas piling up overtakes.
