It was a painful race. But let's take some positive stuff: at least this last 3 races should force changes somewhere to improve racing. 10 more races like the last ones and F1 is done.

EDIT: Maybe this guy knows something about the sport...

Generation of tires are way too durable. Really miss the times when they 'fell off the cliff'.

if Nico was driving there and winning by 15 seconds I doubt he would have the same opinion

Fully agree with his tweet

When it came to his contributions to the Sky coverage however, it felt like he added nothing of value
His contributions were stuff along the lines of "Vettel is dominating out front, looks like the closest battles will be for the 3rd step on the podium, that crash at the start was very dangerous", all surface level stuff with no depth

Definitely a case of Sky signing him for who he is rather than any great addition to their team
Classic Sky

When you drive in Montreal with 3 DRS Zones and there is still almost no overtaking you know there is something veryyyy wrong

Don't worry, the next race is a track marked out in chalk on a french car park, that'll sort the boring races out.... :slaphead:

Well, people moaned like hell that Pirelli can't make durable tires and the races are unfair and decided because of tyre wear rather than drivers and car performance. So what do you really want? You can't have it both ways

Have you really forgotten all these "Pirelli sucks", "Bring back Bridgestone" threads? Because I haven't.

Because of the "what's her name" model waving the damn flag too early, the race was actually classified after 68 laps.

I honestly don't blame her, the sooner that race finished the better!

I really miss the times when there was no pitstops and races were decided on reliability and daring overtakes

Yeah but its was better for her to stay at home and do what she usually does taking selfies and stuff, here she doesnt even know what lap it is.
Leave it to the pro who have been doing it year after year...

Talking a bit seriously. She wasn't alone there, so someone aware of the race was caught napping there. Which is understandable given how boring this race was.

And Ricciardo lost the fastest lap of the race to Verstappen because of the flag incident.

On Instragram she said she was TOLD to wave the flag one lap early. That's bullshit IMO. :slaphead:

Well considering how much Grosjean is crashing, he’s already back in 2012
