30+ lap old soft tyres

Cannot be passed

Good job with the 2017 downforce rules, FIA

Now the FIA must realise they have an overtaking problem

Vettel saved a DRS from Bottas in the opening of lap 56 that was unlikely and it seems it was decisive.

Toro Rosso-Honda in two races has eclipsed McLaren-Honda's best finish from the past three years.

The Mercedes just isn't that good in dirty air. And Vettel really drove well on those tires, which he was obviously struggling on.

Yeah, but Bottas was taking about a second a lap out of him at that stage, then just stalled as soon as he got within 2 seconds

And this is a track where overtaking is semi-possible.

It's not new news that this is a problem, just hoping it's further demonstrating to the powers that be that Downforce levels need slashing

Plus Bottas was on 30+ lap old medium tyres

I get the impression nobody’s told Vettel that one of his mechanics was injured.

so in 2 races Honda showed McLaren that you just need someone to support instead of bashing

and it's official: Williams is the Minardi of the season

Far better race than 2 weeks ago. Shame for Kimi and the Red bulls.
A bit of shame he didnt get close enough in last lap to get him

If i were Williams i would get the 2017 car back and put the halo on it and race cuz its faster than the 2018 car by 1.5 sec
This year for them will be another 2011 year, even the Sauber got away

Not only that but finished on the same lap and just over a minute from the winner. Regardless of the luck involved with gaining (or not potentially losing places) from the retirements of the RBRs and Kimi, this was an incredible performance by this team, driver and engine.

Romain Grosjean, Williams, and arguably Haas are my farces of the race...but especially Grosjean. And he thinks he is champion material.

Obviously some bad blood between Magnussen and Grosjean.

I’d vote for Williams, they really had nothing today. Sauber qualified similarly yet Ericsson had an incredible race.

Polish media want Kubica back in the GP seat so they find every single guy out there who grills them in the press. Heck, Williams performance - or lack thereof - is more important than who actually won the race here. If they keep getting spanked by Sauber on a long haul then it will become a farce for Williams who's like dead last on the pecking order right now.
