They can find ways to fix that. As they did after that Montreal race, where Ricciardo won.

Ricciardo won because both Mercs had identical failures with the MGU-K and issues with rear brakes.

And then put a lot of new openings on the car to properly refrigerate their components. Which were shown and studied at Motorport.com at the occasion.

No rate the race-thread, no driver of the race-thread, no farce of the race-thread...

F1 is officially dead.

You could just as equally look at the evidence and declare TBK officially dead

Yeah, it's a shame that people have moved on. Unfortunately, I have to include myself.
Most probably went to Facebook groups, Youtube or Reddit.

I only did them when @JJ dropped the ball after Monza qualifying red flag period. He's the one who made all the interesting statistics of our ratings so I wanted to give him a chance to get at least 2017 season completed.

Me? I'm out because the Halo is in. But if someone wants to continue, be my guest. I will rate every race somewhere between 5 and 0 as Halo automatically gives 5 points penalty. Then I have only 100 points that I can give during the whole season, so I must save them for the good ones. So just to be safe for this long season, I would give 0 points to Aus GP. Gotta think about the long run ahead and save points.

"Gotta think about the long run ahead and save points". F1's "conserve" philosophy rubbing off there.

Plenty of motorsports outside of F1 to look forward to though! but yes I was wondering where the rate the race thread was, I was going to give it a nice big low score lol

so let's assume that the average rating for the race itself is zero

Don't miss the complex made out rules that I have for my scoring. It's not like I could just give it a number between 10-0 by my level of excitement. If I would give 10 points to every race, I would ran out off points before halfway point of the season. And given the fact that Halo takes away 5 points, the 10 point race would be 15 in past seasons. That would be like combining the best parts of Dijon 1979, Donington 1992, Spa 1998, Suzuka 1998, Brazil 2003, Suzuka 2005, Canada 2011, Brazil 2012 and Baku 2017, but still even better. So let's face it, it's impossible to see a race worth higher rating than 5 with these rules. But these are the rules and these will be effective until 2021 because we need consistency and stability to get new fans and stabilize the budget with eco-friendly solutions. I like to think that with these rules and with this outcome I will find some young person who will love all of this and will become a new fan.

Actually, now that I think about it, I can give all the remaining 20 races a 5, if I want to consume all my points. But since there might be a race worth of 6 points, I'll still keep saving the points. Good thing that the next race is at Bahrain, that's an easy 0 or 2...1 at best.
