Fuck it. The FIA killed F1 about sixty times in the past ten years.

So did Michelin tires on a banked corner.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

The fact advertising came into the sport in the first place

And the first ever wing being added to the sport too

Chapman, you have a lot to answer for

Which has died more: F1, Indycar, or NASCAR?

NASCAR has had an embarrassing midlife crisis, Indycar has actually flatlined then been revived and now has a new outlook on life, while F1 is just getting older and more senile yet somehow will not quite kick the bucket.

NASCAR's downfall started with the repaving of Bristol, think about all that's happened since then.

I suggest to rename this thread "Fuck you, F1", because it's starting to look and sound like the infamous equivalent NASCAR thread

at least F1 didn't had the fate of the british car industry, that fell into the hands of a british evil character that sold to foreigners that slowly killed until it became just a memory of crappy quality vehicles

: I was with you until you said cheese. Cheese is the best thing on this planet and don't you dare bring it into this

Adding to the list though, and I'm serious this time:
- Radio comms
- Telemetry, or any sort of data acquisition

Use your own ass/ears to setup the car, and develop some high-speed reading skills to get position and gaps in the race

Radio comms with a Delay/censorship, maybe

The days of "FUCKING RAIKKONEN!!!" etc, were pretty cool
(Formula E is learning this at the moment too ;) )

I'm okay for in-race commentary, just have a TV mic there, just not relayed to the teams

And since when is swearing a problem in the UK anyway? I thought you guys were far less puritan than American TV. I'm disappointed.

Don't get me wrong, I also like cheese, but when you talk about cheese, you just can not ignore the well known fact how it has tried (and failed) to kill F1 more times than Wile E Coyote has tried to catch the Roadrunner.

Also, I forgot from my list the crazy priest in Silverstone with "the end is nea" -sign. No, I did not misspell that.

Christmas has also tried to kill F1.
