"You've got the time it takes for the podium to revolve to decide if you wanna gamble on listening to the DJ"

"Aww, you lost the title Vettel: Lets have a look at what you could've won!!"

Podium goes full Bullseye

All right now, The Liberty Media has gone way too far now. It's OK to allow sunglasses to a legend, but a turntable podium with a DJ? That's just wrong.

Congrats to Lewis, I'm not a fan but he drove well this season and didn't make any critical mistakes as Vettel did, he fully deserves it.

Can't wait for the next gen though and see guys like Verstappen, Ocon, Sainz battle for titles!

Classy move by Vettel to drive up alongside Hamilton and applaud him and then follow behind out of respect. Pay attention Max. Hamilton and Alonso showing everyone how to do Turn 1 right.

Huh? What did Max do in turn 1? Vettel’s fault 100%

Yes, pretty much. Vettel really made an effort to hit as many cars as possible within three turns.

Vettel has probably the worse driver awareness I've ever seen. Congrats to Hamilton for a well deserved title.

finally it's over, will Verstappen win more races because Kvyat might be gone forever from F1?

I thought there was some nice overtaking, more than normal. With Hamilton and Vettel out of position, it did inflate the numbers somewhat.

Nice to see Ocon beat Perez by 2 positions in front of the latter's death-threatening idiot fans. Perez's only real skill was saving tyres, which he used to do really well back a few years when the Pirellis were made of wax.

Can someone tell me how a track with (what felt like) a 11km long straight can't produce much overtaking? I stopped watching after lap 20 because I had to go work (#timezonelife) but it looked like even with DRS cars weren't making any ground on the car in front

Probably all kicked off after I stopped watching I guess.

Could it be something to do with air density up at 2000m? The air being thinner making slipstreaming, and the loss of drag from DRS, less effective while also giving the engines less of a return.

Yep, precisely. Thinner air, less slipstreaming, less engine power, less DRS efficiency. And some of them ran out of gear and revs.

Apparently the turbo engines develop about the same power these days, at the cost of them working much harder for the same output.
