What actually happened to kimi after the pass anyway?

He managed to finish 4.1 seconds behind, which is crazy considering he was only passed 1 corner before

Maybe he on fumes and Max could have waited?

He visibly slowed coming out of the final corner and heading towards the line. I saw it momentarily then the camera cut away.

Race came good in the last third. The thing before was heading straight for a below average score.

This debate wouldn't have happened if the track had been lined with grass or sand

Bottas is useless at defending. I actually think he is incapable of it. Ricciardo in Malaysia, Räikkönen and Vettel here. Alex Wurz said that already was an issue when he was at Williams, but boy, Valtteri is not doing himself any favours during the last few races.

Stupid decision to penalise Max after they were allowed to use all parts throughout the weekend. I saw many cars cutting the corner similar in turn 6 (I think). Yes, first of all, put grass there but then again, don’t make stupid decisions. Vettel was lucky to make it to P2 with a lot of help from Räikkönen. He munched through his tyres, would have been interesting to see him trying to fend off Max at the end

Apparently it is the same chief steward as at Mexico last year (which would explain why Max was not very happy with him on Dutch TV).

If so, then it is the same chief steward that thought that Lewis cutting the whole of turn 2 on lap 1 in that race was perfectly fine.

There is more than just 1 person making decisions in the stewards room, There's what 3 stewards & a former driver & I don't believe that any 1 of them can make a decision on there own.

Also would be the same chief steward as in Japan last year, who went to Paddy Lowe after the race was finished and pressured him to file a complaint against a pass Verstappen made on Hamilton (which was later rescinded by Wolff).

And Jos is being very Jos-ish both on Twitter and on TV in an interview with Bobby Dildos.

Horner also calling out Garry Connelly, although not by name.

And apparently Carlos also cut a corner in his battle with Ocon, which went unpenalised.

This is great entertainment.

Not sure why this is a thing when A) Telemetry showed Lewis actually backed off down the next straight to give the time back he gained
B) The SC came out which rendered the whole thing moot anyway and brought the entire field onto his rear wing

Hamilton hate does not see logic

It's not anti-Hamilton, it's explaining where the issues started and why it has blown up the way it has.

He did this on C4, calling out the steward. C4 didn't rise to him

He does it again on Sky, their dickhead presenter immediately comes back by naming the guy

And that, folks is the difference between Channel 4 and sky. Sky have no class

As much as I can see Horner's point, trying to turn this into a personal thing about the steward in question is not the way to go about it

Well, he thinks it's a personal thing, especially after what happened in Japan last year.

Yeah but even he wasn't naming the guy, trying to keep it slightly under the veil, until Simon blundered in with no class and just said his name. Dick
