8 - I just wanted a contact between the leaders and that would be 10/10

Close, tense on the restart, some passes, but not many. Couple of 3 wides too

Once it became clear ultra softs weren't going to allow Vettel to cut through the dirty air and even mercedes power and super softs weren't going to get through it on a renault engine , it settled into a procession

Nice, in parts, just not enough.
Needed rain

5/10

5. Missed the rain. The SC brought it up to a five, otherwise a 3.

3/10.

One point for summer break ending.
One point for Force Indias.
One point for Kimi Räikkönen's contract renewal (up yours Autosport and other shitty F1-medias!).

Other than that, F1 fails to deliver when it counts the most. Spa, of all the places. Safety car, that brings out nothing, aero-package that prevents close racing. Who cares about the lap records? The cars are like on rails a lot of time and the race pace is over 4 seconds slower than in the qualifying. I would rather have 10 seconds slower lap times if there would be double amount of overtaking or any action on track what so ever. Cars should go 340 km/h on Kemmel straight and be tricky as hell to corner through Les Combes, Pouhon, Fagnes, Stavelot, Blanchimont and Eau Rouge, but still be able to stay within a one second interval from another.

Same old shit. Better pick any old random low number, let's say... 2.

5. Pretty bad, when are they finally going to raise the drs distance to 1.5 or 2 seconds? These cars can just not get within one second of each other, only at the start or restarts and then drs is not active. Who makes these rules? A quick fix can be done but no one is brave enough to do something about this lack of overtaking this year.

DRS was a temporary solution to F1s dirty air problem, don't forget

Please don't encourage them to increase it.
It needs to be gone, but only when the cars can follow a lot closer than they do now

6 - Too bad it didn't come to a real battle for the lead. Did enjoy it though.

As long as they have the amount of downforce they have, forget about following eachother closely. I'd rather have the DRS than nothing at all with these cars or there'd be no passing AT ALL.
