Never seen a Russian gp yet but I'll download this one since watching it live would require me to get up at 3 or 4am...and I'm actually more excited for f1 this year than IndyCar, except for Indy 500 of course.

$1000 on poor Stroll not finishing. He doesn't seem that bad so far but his luck has been horrible.

Turn 3

That is all.

Turn 3 is the only good point of this track

There's a good part of this track? That's generous.

Typical. Just a few days ago it nearly snowed in Sochi, and now it looks >20C° for the weekend.

No high expectations concerning the race. Hamilton or Vettel wins, Bottas is 3rd and Kimi struggles the whole weekend as will McLaren.

And zero chance of rain which is weird since sochi is pretty wet.

And no Tesla Coils to zap the cars at random intervals, Mammoth tanks to launch missiles onto the track or sexy female assassins to distract the drivers with her feminine wiles as I thought all russian cities had when I was a kid playing Command and Conquer: Red Alert :(

I am not excited about this GP.

Neither am I.

Also, turn 3? Easy flat with this year's grip, unless it rains of course.

second race I won't watch this season.

Considering Barcelona is the next, I might only be back for Monaco.

Last year's Barcelona was a terribly boring race, with early race drama, two simultaneous battles for the lead and for the podium up until the closing stages, and a historically record-breaking winner.

again they misplaced DRS zones, the first zone detection should be before turn 18 and activation zone right in the beggining of the straight

Yes, the same thing will happen this season for sure.

I actually really like this track, as shit as the racing is for F1.

Well, I'm not excited about this GP, at all.

Turn 3 = useless easily flat bend

:tumble:

Different strokes for different folks..... but, to me, this one is like Valencia. Completely blend.

I watched Bahrain delayed, on the following wednesday of the GP. There is a very good chance I'll skip this one, unless it rains and/or there are lot's of interesting wrecks and shenanigans, which is highly unlikeky

Putin, shove you Russian money into something else, please

This is a quite neat graph:

Wish every series would do the same

Aussies, from West to East, will watch on prime time. This is curious to me cause I always thought they had to watch Euro rounds on dreadful hours like 3am or something :D

Yes, the same thing will happen this season for sure.

After 4/5-way battles early this season involving the 3 top teams in China and Bahrain, more than likely to be the same again.

And, it's all a bit too easy don't you think?
- Last year's race was boring: boring track, GP will suck.
- Last year's race was interesting: it won't happen again this year, GP will suck.

You'll have to realise at some point that the issue is in your head, not elsewhere.
