Too much white. More red, less white.

I was wrong about the grey, it's blue instead. Red, white and blue and yet it's not American team.

It's not as bad as it could have been, or it's looking good only because of Ericsson. Iono, 6½/10 maybe?

It's nice that it isn't just grey, but I'm not making a 2018 RDT for this half-arsed job.

Isn’t that just the circa 2010-12 paint job but with red on the engine cover?

Ericsson is like that kid in school who failed every subject but still got let through to the next grade. What a waste of a prized f1 seat.

No, it's the first 2008 Force India paint job sans gold.

Was that the interim livery used during testing as they took over from Midland?

Yes it is.

They can add some green, but I think it looks fine. It was never going to be completely or even majority red and what they have is a good compromise.

The sad thing about it is it's Stroll who is the one locked in despite lacklustre performances

If there was 2 free seats I'm sure Williams might be ok with taking a risk on Robert with a 1 year contract, while someone more in tune with modern F1 like Alonso (lol), button (lol) or Di Resta (lolololol) took the "reliable point scorer" seat so they'd be assured of banking some good points and maybe even something mega if Robert was back on form.
But because Lance is a rolling checkbook on wheels only, they probably need to look to the 2nd car to be the reliable point scorer and Robert might be too much of a risk for them to take on that.

Try Indycar, Robert, holding the wheel left for 2 hours is a lot easier (note: JOKE!)

We all should look up for the IndyCar next year. (not a joke)

Why can't Williams do a race by race deal with Kubica? Senna did that with McLaren in 1993, so why not? Di Resta and Kvyat are not what you should count as "reliable point scorers". Wehrlein maybe, but he wasn't exactly very spectacular against Ericsson on the last half of the season and Martini deal doesn't let him in anyways.

What can you possibly lose with Kubica? His market value would be right next to Räikkönen and Hamilton, the level no other drivers in the grid gets. Sure, Spain and Germany, you can pretend that your driver matters and you might even have some statistics, but go to an actual race and you will see that people will only be moved by what Kimi and Lewis does.

Over 20.000 Poles came to see the Hungarian Grand Prix because there was a rumour that Kubica might be back! Over 10.000 stayed to see him testing on Tuesday. Think about it. How in the world you could go wrong with picking up Kubica and see how it goes? The most spectacular comeback in Formula One history? Sure you don't want to gamble with that? You get the most most motivated racer on Earth for schmeckles and the rest of the planet looking at you. If he fails to deliver points, everyone will understand. You can replace him before half way point and no one is upset. I mean, you let Massa drive around and block Bottas winning for three years and therefore your last winner is Maldonado. How wrong could you possibly get with Kubica? I bet that if Kubica retires the race because of his arm by parking the car or crashing it, he will be the first person to admit it and walking away for good. And again, everyone would totally understand that. All you need to do is get your lawyers to make a deal that looks good on the paper with the guy and he'll sign it with a smile on his face. And the whole world would watch at you.

I'm assuming the only reason Wehrlein isn't staying with Sauber is he's got a seat somewhere else? Hopefully not Williams.

Concept Alfa livery is meh.

How does Ericsson still have a ride? Ferrari, what are you doing? Giovanazzi deserves to be racing in f1 next year.

Are F1 teams allowed to have multiple drivers in a car throughout the season? I know they can (STR, lol), but to actually announce it before the season. We see a lot of that in NASCAR or IndyCar, with entries being shared between drivers (like Ed Carpenter (oval) + Road course driver in IndyCar)

I mean, could Williams split the seat between Wherlein, Kubica and DiResta during the season, and then settle for one of those, for 2019?

It's not like they'll be fighting for much next year, anyway.

I think Kubica needs a full paying seasons race seat as there was some talk of him having to repay the insurance payout he got if he ever raced an F1 car again, so that's probably the sticking point, Kubica needs a year (or more) contract, Williams don't know whether to go with one or not. A race-to-race deal is impracticable for Kubica.

From what we hear in Poland, Robert has support from LOTOS ( oil company ) that supported him in WRC + there are rumours about big supermarket company support. Overall that would give him around 8-10 milion euros from sponsors. It was also mentioned many times that Kubica's contract would be pretty low for F1 standards in his first season after return. There are no problems with stamina or driving, only thing that was a problem was experience in new car since he didn't drive 2017 car too much and that both times he had tests in new car he was doing programs for either Renault or Pirelli. His last test with Williams was done on last weekend setups for Massa and Stroll, because Pirelli asked the teams to compared how 2017 and 2018 tyres worked.

I think that the problem with his insurance is not a problem at all. If it was then I'm pretty sure that he wouldn't do any F1 testing.

Did they have to frame the picture to show a single-seater with the front exposed like that? Whether voluntary or not, it's ironic.

I guess they are able to do that, but only if they stick with 4 drivers. Wehrlein could do Bahrein and Abu Dhabi as those places have an alcohol ban so Martini wouldn't bother
