Renault looking for sponsors for Senna?

I'd like to see it, but has he had any Friday running in the car?

No.
But he had some good action in Spa under the wheel of R30 using only one hand (mobile phone in another ) + he passed Eau Rogue backwards too :)

I'd love to see Bruno get a chance. He showed pretty well in the hrt. Also was very fast in GP2 which if you can do that your good enough for f1 most of the time.

Brundle doing some Pirelli testing today

here some of his replies from his own twitter:

My toy for today 90 laps in Pirelli's F1 test car run by Toyota MotorSport to 2011 weight+ downforce. I'm so mega happy!
We're testing every tyre wet+ dry. 34 deg ambient 45+deg track. Good for testing. We will water part of track later. Some great action.
it was great Cooperman. 72 laps in the end, neck held up better than expected, less than 2 secs off pace , some great footage.
pounding round on new medium compound to be used in Valencia. Good tyre, nice to be ahead of the game. Used every Pirelli tday.
there's about a second between compounds. (time differential between the supersoft and hard tyres). Maybe a bit more between medium +soft. Track was 46C pm and s/soft soon struggled.
We've 20 hours footage to edit from yesterday in Jerez including a whizzy new high speed camera. Suspect first features Silverstone.

Nice reply from Adam Cooper about this testing: "Looks like you really could be McLaren's reserve driver when Pedro is busy elsewhere!" :)

I think so too :) He tested good amount of F1 cars already.
from http://www.martinbrundlef1.com/career-f ... racing.php
"Despite his F1 career being over, Brundle has subsequently gain access to the cockpit of an F1 car on a number of occasions. He took the wheel of a Jaguar F1 car for the Formula One demonstration in London prior to the 2004 British Grand Prix and drove a BMW Sauber during a demonstration in 2006. Also in 2006, Brundle drove a 2005 Red Bull Racing car around Silverstone as part of a TV feature. This was followed up in 2007 with Brundle and colleague Blundell both driving Williams F1 cars to demonstrate overtaking. In 2008 he filmed a number of features driving old F1 cars including his 1992 Benneton"
also he tested Super Aguri F1 car http://totalf1.com/full_story/view/1892 ... lverstone/
I remember in early 00s he tested B192 already and compared it with Ferrari F1-2000 and during 1999 season ITV showed some of drivers' lessons with Martin under the wheel of Jordan 199.
What else F1 cars he tested or that's all ?

Unbelievable how much better Spa Franchorchamps looks in that 2001 track guide video, even with crappy quality.

According to AMuS, Senna is to replace Heidfeld imminently.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Of cource strange decision but Money rules... I guessed first they would give Bruno to run in firday practices to compare his speed with Petrov and Heidfeld. without real testing for a long time perhaps it will be hard 2011 European GP for Senna.
----------
according to Bild and Dr. Helmut Marko (Red Bull) Ferrari will have some benefit after banning of blown diffusers but Red Bull , McLaren and Mercedes will be lost some speed.
I wonder that more peoples tell us about Mercedes blown diffuser. Do they realy have it and it works correctly ?

What's AMuS? Heidfeld is dissapointing though. He should be leading this team but he is not doing a better job than Petrov. This was probably his last chance in F1 and he is blowing it.

To be honest, if you take away Malaysia then Nick has had a pretty disappointing season.

Petrov has stepped up to look like he is the team leader, whilst Nick has lacked the pace and, surprisingly for him, the consistency to challenge at the front.

True.

And Renault will probably shift it's focus to 2012 sooner than later. When developing a new car the input Nick gives about the current car is less valuable.

They started the season with the 3rd best car, which is now the 5th or 6th best. Heidfeld was presumably hired to sustain development, which has not materialised
