The other thing which I saw on Atlas which isn't a bad suggestion is Virgin.

Virgin are entering a collaboration with McLaren (supposedly) and giving Paffett to Virgin might be part of the deal. A bit like how di Resta is at Force India because they get the Mercedes KERS free.

Hmm seems logical although Paffet has been trying to get a drive for years and never gets one.

DRS overtakes look so fake to me.
I mean, let's put it this way. With the same philosophy we could put a rule in football that a goalkeeper cant use his hands or he have to move away if the opposite player shots from 20 meters or more, just because in football there are too few goals if we compare it, for example, to basketball. wouldnt it be ridicolous?

Those Kubica photos are not recent, he does not use a crutch anymore for one thing.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

He is a former DTM champion. And I thought Indycar wanted high drivers from other racing class to show who is the best. He fits the description indeed.

2 things: he was a DTM champ a lot of years ago. And secondly, he was a DTM champ.

Don't think that will qualify for an American race.

Petra aka Bernie Ecclestone Buys America's Most Expensive Mansion

Quote:
The long-running drama over the sale of the highest-priced home in the U.S. appears to be heading to its finale. The 57,000-square foot Los Angeles mansion built by the late TV producer Aaron Spelling is slated for sale to a 22-year-old heiress to a Formula One racing fortune. The home on five acres of property in Holmby Hills has a bowling alley, beauty salon, several gift-wrapping rooms and parking for 100 cars. "The Manor," as the property is known, had a list price of $150 million that didn't budge during the real-estate downturn that sent prices in Los Angeles down by more than a third. The sales price was not disclosed.

The buyer, Petra Ecclestone, will be splitting her time between London and Los Angeles after her planned August wedding to entrepreneur James Stunt, according to a spokeswoman. Ms. Ecclestone's father is the British billionaire and Formula One racing boss Bernie Ecclestone.

Stewart, Hamilton all smiles after car swap at WGI .

Quote:
WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. — NASCAR Cup star Tony Stewart and Formula One standout Lewis Hamilton have finished their car swap at Watkins Glen International.

After both drivers took warmup laps in their own cars on Tuesday, Hamilton hopped in Stewart's familiar No. 14, spun the tires as he left pit road, and turned six laps over the 3.4-mile long course on rain tires. The track was slowly drying after a morning rain. When he was finished, Hamilton did an impressive burnout as the fans roared their approval.

Stewart then got into the McLaren Mercedes MP4-23 that Hamilton drove to the 2009 F1 title, and after slowly leaving the pits began an impressive four-lap spin.

Stewart turned a fast lap of 1 minute, 42 seconds on rain tires in Hamilton's car.

Hamilton, who had never been to the track, was first to go out and drove only two laps in his car, making it around in 1:50 in a drizzle on a wet surface.

The track record for the long course is 1:28.597 at 136.935 mph, set by IndyCar's Ryan Briscoe in 2009.

Both were all smiles afterward, as was track president Michael Printup, who pegged the crowd for the free event from 8,000-10,000.

Watkins Glen hosted F1's U.S. Grand Prix from 1961-80, and since then the fans who attend races here have only heard the distinctive roar of those high-revving motors during vintage events.
