Here's one hoping the teams protest the race

Well even if it is given the green light now, it might still be cancelled further down the line. It would be funny if teams protested and didn't go, but sadly that is highly unlikely.

I wish the teams would boycott.

I doubt it'll even be safe for anyone to go even in October.

but the protest's aren't over there I thought? It seems quite dangerous to have a race happening that could be ideal case to show your protest...

And I thought the Indian track was already almost complete?

The protests are still going on. A woman was killed yesterday.

They're not, Bahrani police were attacking protesters again today.

India would have been ready on time but Bahrain offered more money.

"A message to the biased foreign media and the world: the fact that F1 agreed to hold the race in #Bahrain dismisses all the lies being said."

This guy is followed by the Bahraini government minister who first tweeted the news.

I suppose we could always make it no television viewers to go with the no spectators they'll have.

They've still got riots and deaths. They are just pretending it isn't happening and declaring anyone who reports it as a liar.

FIA confirms the Bahrain GP for October 30th. Indian GP will host the finale, date unspecified.

Fuck sake.

Also, 21 dates on the 2012 calendar. 20 from this year + US. Turkey provisional
