Looks like the wet tyre is actually fine to race on. Just awkward on the restarts when it was cold. |

If Max wasn't in the race it would be pretty boring. And yes, it was just soo okay to race. |

And after all that, Mercedes still score a 1-2. |

Good to see Lewis and Nico back on speaking terms. I think Nico may have realised that he only needs to crash into Lewis to win the championship. |

Robbie Williams said recently on Dutch TV he "doesn't know" who Max Verstappen is, I think everyone should know who he is after a god-like performance like that!!! :-) |

This was Max's donington 93. And it was wettest at the end but the racing was fine, why all the stupid delays Charlie? Just let them get on and get accustomed to the conditions |

Just let them get on and get accustomed to the conditions That's what I thought too. What a race by verstappen, very impressive. I was a bit irritated by Red Bulls pit stop choices, both stops were unnecessary. It would be interesting to know what the thinking behind the stops was |

Hamilton thinks he's Senna, but Verstappen today was a mix of Gilles and Senna, drive of the season for him |

Verstappen's car control and bravery today was incredible. He was finding grip and speed in places that others could not even dream about. Just a supreme performance from the lad today. If someone in the post race asks him how he pulled all this moves off, he should answer like this... |

Everytime we have a wet race i always have high hopes for normal start. And then the useless red flag periods, after Kimi crash. And everytime F1 dissapoints me even more. But Max saved the day. Really if it wasnt him it would be the dullest wet race in history ive ever seen. So from shit race it turned out pretty good. |

Red Flag was neccesary for the Kimi crash ,but not the second one. I remember British gp this year, and the dullest wet race ever- Monza 2008. But yes,Verstappen stole the show and drove brilliant. |

The clip of Gutierrez throwing his gloves across the Haas garage after retiring, then Gunther Steiner pulling him back towards him after Gutierrez was stropping about, the NBCSN comms team said that this frequent "temper tantrum" behaviour from Esteban was a prime reason why Haas chose to drop him. |

I don't blame them. He's been comprehensively out performed by his team mate and seems to have a very self entitled air ever since he got the seat thanks to Ferrari. It's too bad Haas can't replace him for Abu Dhabi and give some young driver a chance. |
