The corners around the castle are just ridiculous. There is barely enough room for the medical car to get through there just by itself. So what do they do? Make a ridiculously tight corner even tighter by extending the inside kerb out further than it should be.

Add the pit entry to the list of ridiculous things about this race track: http://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/drivers-concerned-about-tight-pit-entry-at-baku-787672/

That pit entry is shades of Fuji 2007. They moved the limiter line forward quickly.

Track looks promising. Going by that virtual sim, like mclaren2008 said, I wouldn't want to go off at some of those high speed blind kinks. That uphill one lane section looks interesting too.

No doubt. If someone tried to go side by side through those high speed kinks, God forbid they have wheel-to-wheel contact. Would be disastrous.

P1 pushing P2 out in the castle section. Everyone blocked, nowhere to go. Everyone has to shut down the engine. All cars are at the opposite side of the track vis-à-vis the pitlane. Would make for one big chaos.

The title is a bit misleading, most drivers look at it as a new challenge and that's exactly how it should be.

Given the arid climate, I don't think it will ever rain here.
Interestingly, all recent tracks (Austin, Sochi, Baku) have been built in dry places. Coincidence?

Yet it rained at Cota last year..... I doubt it's coincidence, more down to $ imo
