Yeah, children might also be a factor. My father started watching F1 at the same time as me (he was 50+) and still became as addicted if not more.

Notice that nobody's giving a flying damn about what's happening in India racing-wise. Hopefully qualifying will bring some fuel to the discussion XD

As everyone continually keeps posting "Vettel will win"

Doesn't mean the racing can't be good behind him though, as in most of 2011...

Think I'll work on my thesis instead of watching F1 this weekend.

I've started losing interest when I stopped being able to watch it regularly, because I had to unubscribe from the channel that carries F1 here. And also because F1 on a Sunday afternoon at lunch time was a bit of a family tradition, and with time, things changed a bit.

Now, watching the races on a crappy stream doesn't have the same excitement, also because I get distracted and look at other things online.

F1 should have a race in Botswana. It's an up and coming country with a growing economy and perfect wide open spaces for a 3.83 mile Tilke track.

I'm one of these who liked this indian circuit...it's a good circuit. It's not as bad as Korea and far away of being as terrible as Bahrain or Abu Dhabi.

The circuit is good. In my opinion, it's already the third Tilke permanent circuit that I liked together Sepang and Shangai. I'm looking forward to Austin that I have a suspicion it's also very good (Mario Andretti's footage and some laps on it with F1 2012 haven't convinced me yet, I need to see the race for a final judgement).

But I believe India has future in F1 If they fix the problem of local population still not knowing what the sport is all about.

I've just read Paul Ricard's director is in advanced talks with Bernie for a possible french GP already in 2013, they have a big plan to bring F1 there If Bernie accepts it, we'll see what's coming out from this.

Maybe it's just that it's a long season and these three races: Korea-India-Abu Dhabi aren't exactly the best. If it was Spa I don't think people's interest would be waning.

Well Red Bull will have to switch back to the 2012-spec alternator soon rather than the 2011-spec ones they are using now, so that might give Alonso some hope.

Renault said it's a redesigned alternator they have now.

I'm guessing these guys weren't asking him about what Force India can do in qualifying...
